Hey Bigshow how are your boys travelling? did you guys do anything last saturday (ie. train, go to other games) given you basically had a bye? Least you'll be fresh for this week.

We all had the week off. Some of the boys may have gone to watch other games but as a club we planned nothing. A few lads were happy with the week off to rest the body. For me personally once the wife found out there was no footy for me she had a list of things for me to keep occupied with

The boys should be fresh for this week and hoping to put on a show in front of the ladies that turn up for our ladies day.

It will be our pleasure. Im hoping for a good turn out. Normally the "ladies" around our club dont need a belly full of wine to be vocal so could make for some funny comments from the sidelines.

it involves lots of wine in a womens only section. prizes for best dressed in club colours and most vocal.
a little bit of a thankyou to the ladies (players wives/girlfriends, committee members, volunteers).
happy wife, happy life....or so they say

I know of one Ovingham lad who played for another club (not in this division) under another name on the weekend, how many more did or will? Tut tut, Adelaide is a small place, fudged registrations can come back to bite you.

As I say, always have a camera at every game, you never know when you might see a player that doesn't match up with a listed name.

out of curiosity, if ovingham didnt manage to fix their troubles and get back on the paddock (fingers crossed they do) then what becomes of the players? can they go elsewhere? or are they doomed to sit out the remainder of the season?
