Well you've certainly made your point.

Following 24 hours of criticism on the 8th most posted football chat room in the country, ting advised that he didn't want to take anyone's position in the A Grade so has magnaminously agreed to play B Grade tomorrow night at Coopers Stadium.

Should line up around half forward flank DE.............

I rekon Jimmy is <Edit> and just wants someone new to argue with.

But I think both have good points but this whole exercise saturday at coopers stadium will benefit the whole league and will hopefully start turning peoples opinion that div 4 is for thugs etc etc. Great for both clubs involved, great for the league.

And if those individuals (Tony Modra is playing for the Princesses) that miss out crack the poohs, i say you should look at the big picture and your not club men so you deserve to miss out!!!! Your first priority is your club you second..........

Greenacres v Adelaide Lutheran Acres flying under the radar, money wins games not premierships
North Haven v Salisbury West Seems all doom and gloom from over the bridge. would be silly to pick them
Fitzroy v Golden Grove Fitzroy had all the eggs in the J Coulter basket but will be a baptism of fire for the Golden boys.
Pooraka v Unley The question should be how much?
Prince Alfred OC v CBCOC Intensity, passion, mates!

Mark Ricciuto versus Darren Jarman in grudge match at Norwood
Article from:
AMY NOONAN
[cid:650594900@03042009-1971]

Former team-mates Mark Ricciuto and Darren Jarman will go head-to-head tomorrow.
HE'S sporting a circle-shaped scar on his head, but the after-effects of his cycling accident won't stop Mark Ricciuto running out for a kick tomorrow.
Except he's not playing for Waikerie.
Rather, he's throwing on the maroon as an adopted "Red", playing for Prince Alfred College Old Scholars in the season-opener against Christian Brothers College.
It's something of an ex-Crow grudge match, as Roo's former team-mate Darren Jarman is coaching CBC, and there's a whisper Tony Modra could line up for the CBC Dolphins too.
But Jars swears it won't get too serious.
"Fun, that's what this competition's about - fun and excitement," Jars says.
Roo's a little worried about his fitness, which he says has gone downhill after hitting a car on his bike last month. He hasn't
been back on a bike since
- the one he was riding in the accident is "in three pieces".
And while neither Roo nor Jars has actually attended either PAC or CBC, that could change in the future.
"Maybe I could get some free school fees for (son) Nick," Roo muses. "Come play for CBC and you won't have to pay fees," Jars promises.
PAC take on CBD in a special match at Norwood Oval. The B-grade's at 4pm, and A-grade at 6pm. Entry is $5, with children free. The game is one of 110 amateur football matches which kick off this weekend.

Golden Grove...going to be tough to beat most of this year I'm afraid
PAOC..only picking them based on the "roo" factor
Salisbury West...Havens seem to have had some off season drama and will be unsettled
Pooraka...some steady players will see them over the line
Greenies...like to think we have improved since we played them in 07 and a home ground advantage should help

Good luck to all

How's Morgan Young going at the helm of the Unley Jets?
What are their prospects for this season?

Used to go by the name of Martin Young when I knew him and was a fantastic footballer in his own right.

well can we talk about Greenacres losing to Adelaide Lutheran today??? What a joke, getting done by a club that does not pay a single player. And in true Greenacres style going the knuckle when the game was all but lost!
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

Yes we played a great team game today.
And someone said I was a "fool" for Tipping Adel Luth!!!
Only Rd. 1 but a nice way to start the season- with a win away from home.
How'd the other results go?
