Central United vs Blackfriars OS
Ingle Farm vs Woodville South
Trinity OS vs Adelaide University
Can Ingle Farm cause an upset? Central United are up and about and full of confidence, Could Blackfriars lose 3 in a row? Are Adelaide Uni now beginning to flex their muscles? so many questions, so few answers...discuss
Unfortunately Houghton lack depth and rely too heavily on too few so they will be up against it this week, Mawson Lakes should bounce back although i'd love nothing more than to see them lose again
Central United at home to win comfortably. Ingle Farm CAN cause an upset, and TOS will pump Adel Uni.

BFG wrote:Houghton V lockleys will be a belter of a game up there. just out of interest how are your blokes travelling with injuries Q? would you say that your strongest side was the one we played R1?
ML v CLG personally cannot wait to watch this one, i know our boys will be fired up and im dead set sure that ML will as well. we can definately win just depends which CLG shows up, the one that beat BOS or the one that, as our respected coach said "was bent over and f**ked in the third quarter" against CU.
CU v BOS if you's asked me last week i wouldve said BOS by 10 goals. this week i think the dogs can do it if they bring their a game. when they are running and allowed space they look very very good. BOS will just have to lock them down.
IF v WS probably the only game that THREATENS (not saying it will be) to be a blow out. WS are in dominant form and should win easily.
TOS v UNI another cracker, if uni get a run on most of us have seen first hand how dangerous they can be. they've got young and athletic talls up front and experience through the guts. Uni's issue may be stopping Zorich and Cotter, both of which are capable of kicking bags.

Yeah Daishy might struggle with the skills required right now, but considering how young he is I reckon in time he would be able to play Div 1. Perhaps not in the midfield rotations.scottroo wrote:I disagree morell, think you underestimate div 1. Daish is a good player but wouldn't play div 1. Visser who played for us and now flinders park shows how good a player you need to be to play div 2

Each Div 6 side would have at least 2 or 3 players that could play in Division 1 with relative ease - Weekley, Boothey, Naylor, Raynor, Woodward, Davis etc. and another 5 which could given a bit of a stretch.
However, the bottom 5 players probably wouldn't make a Div1 R side.

SHOC's C grade in Div 7 were better than the B grade in Div 1 res who only lost 2 games all year - mainly cause alot of players didnt like playing under the coach. I have seen some great footy this year from some very good players in Div 6 and do you think Uni's C grade is full of C graders? I dont think so! Since the SANFL abolished the u/17 & u/19 system more young players just move on to the local clubs. Some developed later and that 2nd year of u/19's was enough to propel them onto bigger and better things. But that opportunity got removed thanks to one - B Phillips!

You're full on crazy if you think Luke McDonnell couldn't slot into a Div 1 side tomorrow. I know of players, right now, playing Div 1, that are nowhere near as capable a footballer as Luke is.scottroo wrote:Sorry morell the mcdonnells would full on struggle in div 1
