The only way Ovies will win a flag this year is if they go back to an u/9 comp.Sorry Nugget, but it's gonna be a bloody tough year of chasing tail for you my son.And do me a favour, tell the boys at the club to stop bagging the crap out of Klompy. He's entitled to go and play close to home after two years under Chris and two flags. Not to mention the 206 goals he kicked in those years.I know you're not one of them, but to have blokes at Ovingham ripping into him behind his back is not on.

it was more of a question put out there 04PC... we'll be competitive and we wouldn't be playin if we weren't lookin to win a flag...

RE Klompy. there aren't people baggin him much, he's coppin a little bit from blokes who don't understand the situation. Klompy's a champ and always will be. i understand he has to work saturdays so he can't play 'this year' but he'll be back, guaranteed. the only thing that was said on tuesday night with a bit of a laugh was we were broken into three groups and the number 2's were known as the Klompys, because that is where he is currently stranded on the SAAFL all time goal scoring ladder. but i know Klomp well. if he can get back next year you bet your bottom dollar he'll be out with us again!!!

ace and punky on board too, good signs.

apologies to our bandwagon for the weeks results. a few late withdrawals meant we went in underdone and down on numbers. B's had some very ordinary ring ins and one on the pine and the A's ended up with no bench and three of us nursing in the second half. lost the game in the second quarter then had some heads drop in the third and we were out. not enough potency goin forward and too often the ball was repelled from our forward line too easily.

much more to come from Ovies. stay tuned!!!

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Well Wattle,if I can find myself a decent brace to support my buggered knee,I might just go out and have a kick with my great mate Klompy in the southern league. When u play footy with that bloke there's a fair chance u you'll win a flag.

Might be time to bring in someone like Terry Wallace, he may be available by Wednesday or Thursday!
