Hey does anyone else think it sucks that Sportsbeat no longer does a write up on SAAFL as it was one thing that i enjoyed is reading the previews & reviews of the weekends games in all divisions after training on a thursday night while waiting for the teams to be named, bit disappointing.
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

The sportsbeat write ups were a disgrace. Get your club to print off some of the budgets from the talkingamateurs.com.au site and hand them out at the club. Beats the garbage sportsbeat used to serve up.

There is nothing in the SAAFl publiation this week except a review from the U23 SAAFL game... ridiculous.

I thought there would some match reviews at least?

I can only go by what I seen last year and the influence that Scuddsy had against us, I think GG will struggle without the man mountain.

Hey Jimmy, what happened to Roo in round 1, is he going to be playing this week? Do you think by having your home game at Norwood Oval hurt your chances of a win? Did you get any revenue from the game?

he will be a huge loss... as would anyone who kicked 100+ goals the year before....

but that just means a lot of last years players and new players this year have to step it up and perform how they are expected to.

we dont have 1 person to take scudds spot.. but hopefully 2 or 3 can have the influences he did.

Along with the goals that he kicks, he takes the best defender plus another big fella to get in the hole and try to stop his lead, the sheer presence that he has and the fact that the opposition are always concious of where he is means he becomes fairly irreplacable.
