Have heard 4+ but you'd think there'd be a need for just a tad of fitness work and solid weeks after he is right to get his spot back so it could (ahem... parden the pun) blow out to 8 weeks.,.. Hopefully not cos this would be a big blow (pun again I know...) for us...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

I picked a Golden Grove v Pooraka GF a few weeks back, but if Calyun and Coleman are heading to Westies, plus Pascoe, Goldsmith, Morris, McIntyre, Martin etc, they will dead set give the flag a shake. Depth may be their only be their only problem, but that would be the best Top 7 in any team in A4.

3/5...not great but better than most it seems.

Would ove to hear a match review from the pooraka and west game. Tigers are looking like the real deal early.

Our game next week should be massive. We are finding our feet and form in this Div + Greenacres 0-2 and desperate for a win at home + GF rematch with no love lost between our sides and a few scores to settle im sure + ANZAC day

GG looked a far more balanced side this week with more bigger blokes
Smaller players had far more room to run than last week at Fitzroy where they just kept running into brick walls
Ran in waves from half back
Always had 3 to the contest and ground level
Into the wind - very disciplined in KICKING TO CENTRE HALF FORWARD SPOT every time. FFS this is not a difficult game. CHF CHF CHF CHF CHF CHF CHF CHF CHF CHF....................
Interesting how many GG players were cramping up in the last quarter considering the pre-season they had, but I suspect its because most had run 20 kms at full pace during the game, rather than their fitness level.

Well done Glamour Gang

(I saw Scudds at the game - one big mofo)

I was at CBCOC and Fitzroy and watched a decent game of Footy despite some puzzling umpiring. Thebarton Oval is a damn big oval and I think all the players were stuffed by the end of the game.

I thought both sides struggled up forward to find a focal point. Fitzroy didn't have either Hart or Neate playing which made it harder for them to find scoring options. CBC are a hard running side and nearly stole the game in the last quarter. A mate of mine who plays for CBC reckons they are pretty fit this year and this showed in the last quarter. For Fitzroy, that Bourke bloke.....seemed like he had 50 odd posessions........well it seemed that way lol

Overall from what I have seen, I have a feeling both these side will finish somewhere in the top few. Next week will be interesting with Fitzroy hosting Salisbury West. Would like to hear a review of the Pooraka/Salisbury West game if anyone was there.
