I'm afraid I don't know what you are talking about son, maybe you have been given the wrong information or have your wires crossed, perhaps you are thinking of someone else.

Yeah, a bit of experience there no doubt, but when those players are secondary to those in the A Grade side, it does augur well for the next few weeks.
Make no mistake, what Ingle Farm presented today is our genuine B Grade side for the finals campaign. Furthermore, we are up for ANY challenge that gets thrown at us. Anyone wants to bring it on, we'll accept it. One ex AFL player sandbagging and got caught out (supposedly hamstring, but in truth, absolutely smashed, softcock), we look forward to the next one.

Flinders Park on the flip side were able to capitilise on the breeze advantage in the 2nd quarter and kick straight.
Half time was 2.9 to 7.3 - so as can see Ingle Farm had more forward scoring shots, and had they kicked straighter would've been a different ball game I think.
Second half Cook stepped up, found a lot more free space and the ruckman #4 started to control the contests around the ground more. The heat began to take its toll on the players, a couple of niggling injuries and struggling to find a genuine goal scoring option up forward had confidence on the rapid decline.
The last quarter became a formality and Flinders Park put a spent Ingle Farm to the sword, blowing it out to the final result.
Flinders Park worked harder for 4 quarters, created good space and made the most of their forward entries. Will be a very interesting game next week, the ruck contest will be an absolute beauty, I think Flinders will have the fitness over Henley but given what I have seen over the past two weeks, Henley will be too big and strong up forward, and have more ball winners around the ground.

Doesn't matter what I think.
In the defence of the blokes who played, majority of them had played in the B grade all year, had done the hard yards, trained hard and earnt the right and opportunity to play. They have managed to get the job done all season so I can understand the faith bestowed in them.
However I believe such is the obvious weakness in the 7R comp, that with the exception of Flinders Park and Henley who have some older very capable footballers, the skill level and depth of other clubs was well quite frankly pathetic. I'm sorry to those clubs who battled hard, and don't mean to be disrespectful, but there was a MASSIVE chasm between the top 3 (Henley, Flinders Pk, Ingle Farm) and the rest. This gap in the sides I believed attributed to some players going through the season being "masked" I guess against weak opposition, but then being exposed in the finals series against quality opposition.
As devastating as this is for the B grade, the big positive is that with the move up a div next year, the club now has a greater understanding of where the players are at and who is capable.

I do like to speak how I feel, but a line needs to be drawn and i'm not going to make a comment or comment on something that disrespects and undermines everyone involved in making important decisions at Ingle Farm.

Ditto. Vast majority of the Owl boys are good football people and although I have been critical of the umpiring situation if previous years it hasn't altered that opinion at all.
Carn the Owls!
and WOS. And Woodville South. Fair dinkum, Kenilworth, Colonel Light Gardens and Ingle Farm all in Grand Finals. The football gods have forsaken me.
