I would just like to clarify that the club had no idea that Leon Dolling was going to send off or had even written such a letter to start with. I know for fact our club president is privately fuming over it...

I reckon most people realise he doesn't speak on behalf of SHOC, nor would there be any ill feeling toward SHOC from other clubs over the matter.

It's plain to see that Mr Dolling is a clown of his own accord.

Spoke with him Saturday and he is still in pain as can be expected. The boys are trying to keep his spirits up and offer support through his long recovery. Big loss for the team.

Very spirited come from behind win dedicated to him, I certainly know he still contributing to the club even when he is not playing. He was there watching the end of the B grade then watched us in the A's and we parked the bottle recycling bin next to him didnt get to see how much he filled it up but I know he was going at a good rate. :-)

=)) I hope you're not talking about no.14 for St Paul's? His hair may knock you out when it blows in the breeze but that's about it.

Fog was so thick at Houghton tonight we couldn't train

Just the one game at Houghton this Saturday, probably a good thing as I don't think the oval would hold up to two games.

if it's forecast rain tomorrow too then that oval is going to be great on saturday.... for a pig pen!

unfortunately not enough numbers for the magoos to get a run and Mudge is uncertain with a hammy problem so we may not get to see the big Mudge clash! i'd love to see it though...

will have to catch up for a chat on Saturday young Q, you know who i am right?

The oval has been holding up well, surprisingly. Heavy, but still very playable. Lots of surface water at the moment though, could be a scrappy game.

You're famous now after your appearance in the local rag, shouldn't be too hard spotting ya. Beers are on me after the game. And tell elder Mudge to toughen up ;)
