I wonder how the umps pulled up after the game a theb on the weekend........ The last quater you could they were very very tired (this is not a go at them). It is a massive oval bigger than all the club ovals in div4
It takes real courage to wear PURPLE!!!!!

Round 3 Tips

FITZROY v Salisbury West by 12 pts Tigers will put up a good fight but Lions to take the points at home.
PAOC v ADELAIDE LUTHERAN by 24 pts Doggies to give the Reds a 0-3 start for the year.
GOLDEN GROVE v Greenacres by 18 pts seen the Kooka's Rd1 & the Dragons got to be on their game to keep up.
POORAKA v North Haven by 30 pts Bulls to run riot over the Magpies but hope they can fight it out.
Unley v CBCOC by 6 pts Jets are tough at home but Dolphins have great endurance as they showed last week.

Good Luck for ANZAC Day & Lest We Forget!
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

No GG BOYS WITH A COMMENT ...sursprise

What did Asheley have to say??

Walk of shame for the GG boys?? did the coach join you? poor coaching I would think!!!! 5 Goals up with 5 to go... Greenies with the wind and AM didnt stack the back lines and then hung crap on the midfield

Good to see some GG Boys back for a beer (minus the coach) more guts off the field than on well done to the guys that came into the the club and showed character..piss W@!k Ashley on the park after the game and no guts later despite some good players/supporters coming in and having a drink with us

GG great club.. great work with juniors etc ..fantastic place to be...pity you are let down by a coach that doesnt know how to loose with dignity :(

Congrats to Greenies on comig back from no where, would love to hear a wrap up of that game.

There were a few high scores over the weekend.

the Dolphins were ahead all day at Unley, Not by much, and Unley remained in the game for the duration. In the end they were probably under done for experience but ultra competitive. There was a turning point in the second qtr when two CBC players retailiated to a head butt in the forward line and were sent off. Over all CBC still look to be a fit side and able to run on in the last quarter.

Chief.. I think Greenies have won 3 out of 4 of the last encounters ( YES GG you won the GF by 4 points) but we are playing Div 4 footy as well.and I thought you should have won by plenty but...no coach no character..great players , great junior program excellent facillities( when finished)BUT Ashley needs to learn how too loose, without blaming everyboby but himself .

Fair call Kookas... didnt stop some of the GG boys after the GF last year and a fair few have said their bit during the off season but as I said in my earlier posts not having a crack at your club (your club is a great example of support for footy) but I dont feel your A grade coach is the best eample of sportsmanship doing the rounds

Turk... do you think presidents and match day officials making their way the whole 3 metres between interchange benches to mouth off after the game is good sportsmanship ?? Me thinks not..... take the great win with dignity, celebrate of course, but to gob off after the game shows poor form... especially when you expect a coach to take that crap and not make a comment. Of course he was disappointed, of course he wasn't happy, but to have your senior people behave like that, then have you say our coach was pathetic is a bit unfair... He would have taken the loss with dignity had your bench not approached...

That aside it was a great win by your mob. Hard, simple footy in the last quarter, did the things that counted and were well rewarded. You only have toi be leading at one stage during the game afterall....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
