L Drowley i reckon. Terrible record between him and West Croydon over the past 3 or 4 years, i believe if there is proven history between an ump and a club then they shouldnt be given that clubs games again. In this case there is a pattern to every game and i hope the tribunal can see this.

Good luck with that!
Hectorville get a fat guy with a hat 3 or 4 times a yr and he crucifies us everytime. BL boys will agree that he ruined our Rd 2 encounter, which if not for him, would have been a great game of footy.
Doesn't move out of the centre square and over-rules the other umpire. Think he has a personal quota of free kicks (75+) that he tries to reach everytime he umpires. Have made several complaints to the SAAFL regarding his conduct and yet we still get him regularly.

I thought we played 1 ripper qtr of footy, 2 good qtrs, and then took the foot off when the game was iced.

what do you mean take him on mate? west croydon were there own worst enemy on the weekend and i'm not being a smart ass either when i say that even when they were in front they had a couple of blokes in the umpires ear and they went against them for the rest of the day that had nothing to do with us and it was a shame as jeb, brett, loffler and matty mcpherson tryed hard all day and i agree he got sent off for nothing but again out of our hands mate.

I didnt say take him on mate, just wanted your take on the way he treats West Croydon. Im not saying it affected the result and nor the boys i spoke too.
The Hawks have had him once a year the last 3 years. The 1st at Golden Grove, 2nd at Trinty last year and now at Paralowie with all the same send offs etc. happening. Last year he sent Loffler off and all he was doing was calming someone down. anyone that knows Loff knows that he is one of the fairest players around.
Nath Bryant gets sent off for nothing answers my question and then red carded for swearing from the bench when it wasnt even him and now goes to the tribunal. There is a pattern here from this idiot and it bothers even when im not there anymore, but i saw 1st hand the last 2 years. At least he didnt report any Bgraders during their game this time.

yeah i see what mean now as i said tho. early in the game west croydon boys were a bit vocal against that ump and then he killed you's all day. and your right about loff very fair player thats for sure and still goes alright aswell.

Unless its a draw Haha! I think it will be won and lost up forward. Depending on which pair kick more in Harvey and Dalby or Walton and Payne!! Anyone got any suggestions on which 2 forwards will kick more?

--------------------------------------------------------
A return to one of Mitchell Parks favourite places saw The Lions face the Hectorville Hounds is what was always going to be an interesting encounter. Sadly it was interesting for a lot of the wrong reasons!
The B Grade continued to show an improved form line compared to previous years with a solid and determined effort that fell just short. The teams were evenly matched with much of the game see-sawing but Heccies always with their noses in front. Considering some of the senior players that were missing it was an admirable effort to eventually go down by 29 points. Brad Moroney showed why many pundits at the club rate him as one of the more promising young players the club has seen. In a role that was perhaps quite new to Possum he provided run, defensive pressure and excellent skills to marshall the back line superbly. Tim Clark, a new player to the club, had a great game across the ground exhibiting some excellent kicking. Mark Harrison donned the boots in a surprise late change and despite playing with obvious discomfort contributed strongly. Lee Darrington made a lot of noise in the forward line leaving Bun-heang Heng, Guy Forster and Tyson Vitale to kick 2 each.
The A grade played some of our best football since 2002. The movement and energy from the midfield was fantastic and with the McDonnell show in full force it was a sight to behold. Outsized and outmuscled the backline held together strongly despite a relatively poor start and restricted some very good footballers to a small score by ¾ time - Mitchell Park up by 4 goals with the game there for the taking....
Then it all went wrong. Hectorville to their credit never gave up and were always close enough to run over the top of us on their home patch – which is exactly what they did. I am personally not sure if it was mindset, fitness or ability that caused such a momentum swing. Perhaps it was a little bit of everything. In a loss described by one senior player as one of the worst he has experienced it was a very disappointing end to what could have been a grand day - with Heccies running out 21 point victors. Casey Varnas was superb on the wing in a best on ground performance. Silky possessions and quick decision making was definitely on show from Casey on Saturday but for mine his ability to make contest after contest when most other players would not have come close is what made his game special. Adam Dowsett was again desperate and creative in the midfield and would be close to our best player so far this year. Luke McDonnell showed some of his critics what he can do with some forward line marking and kicking the Adelaide Football club could probably do with, eventually finishing with 6 goals.
As Darren said, now is not the time to turn on each other or give up. If we can play the football we played for the first half for 4 quarters we can beat anyone.
See you on the track!

Why you worried about Payney, he is an on baller... I'd be more concerned about the other forwards
