Portland not happy with the front page and story on thursday. pres and chairman both phoned porter to tell him to get his facts right before printing the story on the front page that is just not true. thornton left on his own and was not dumped or sacked as porter wrote. had work and family to attend to and appears that 2 + 2 = 147 and up lobs a story on getting sacked. good luck if the thornton was trying to get another coaching gig next year and clubs actaully believe the that as truth. portland were told that the situation would be "fixed" at some stage, but does not help thornton much now does it

And the best amateur team? Prince Alfred Old Collegians in C3 - 62.06%. That's the Reds' fourth side and their other 3 teams also have a far better strike rate kicking for goal than the Crows.
For the record, PAOC has not lost a game in Div 3, Div 3R and C3 and the C6 side is third with 12 wins and 4 losses.
