What happened to Newchurch I thought he was coaching it, or is it a co venture?

Yeah He was supposed to be helping out Pricey but I haven't seen him around the club for a while and he not playing this week aswell. I reckon he'll be at the game today anyway helping out.

Good game till 3/4 time, pretty even and i think FP a goal up, then Plympton went bang-bang-bang-bang-bang and she was all over!

Plympton are a bloody fit side for 3rds, and one thing ive noticed in C Grade is you generally get 1 or 2 fatty-boomba's in the side, but plympton have none, sure there are a couple of overweight guys, myself being one of them when i finally play, but no fatty-boomba's.

Fitness may be the telling factor this year.

They played their oval very well. Tough oval to get any run going but i would say the second time we play we will have a very diffrent side out their. Not taking anything away from Plympton they did play very well. Should be very interesting to see the table after round 9. Hard to judge anyone at this stage till the sides settle a bit!!!

Have to say well done to the Lutheran boys way to strong for us on the weekend - just too many blokes that have played at a higher level and moved the ball well on the big oval
played in a good spirit as well
will say to my lads though that they had a crack in big Les's 100th and the main aim is to continue to improve and hopefully be more competitive next time round
The lowlight for us was some old bloke running around thinking he could still play only to do his ribs soft

That is the problem with being our D grade side. In saying that we really struggled in the midfield which is an area we are normally very strong. I think we will have some good contests this year. Even in the past you blokes have been our bogey side, back when Whitey and Davison were playing!!! Big fella FF first game so yeah he looks good. Funny thing i grew up with Sean and his brother so it wa good to catch up with him. Maybe even tag him next game :o
