Mark Janssan is coaching the C Grade (Div 7) team this year for the Gullies. He is pumped to be in the Div 7 comp.

Scott (Skittles) Hewitt is coaching the C Grade and Robert Dix is coaching the D Grade.

Skittles was the B Grade captain and played a few A Grade games last season.... this is his first coaching role and i think he will do a great job.

TTG's D grade have always been tough for our B grade to beat, can't remember us ever beating them to tell you the truth...will definately give Uni a run for their money in the Div 7R comp, would be a good game to watch actually.

yes central united had a trial... very good signs but tstill alot of work to do with fitness. Congratulations to TTG and Modbury on there promotion to Div 7. Having played the Hawks in the 2008 decider(c2) I know they will be hard to beat. Very young, very fit, and if they still have Meady, hard to stop... Good luck to all

Now that the Hawks are officially in Div 7 (less importantly gullies ;) ) i wouldnt mind hearing from some of the Athelstone, SHOC, UNI players that swapped between there B grade and C grade sides last year as to the difference between the 2 grades. Noticeable drop when playing Div7 to playing A1 or A2 reserves? Or would you say the tempo was upped?

I have played pretty much every div in the association... Div 4 and up the tempo lifts. Div 5 and down the tempo is there but its not consistent in every game

div 1/2 reserves is more consistent due to a better spread of players and a general adhrence to gameplans plus the fringe and returning from injury players. it's generally quicker but i've found that the lower divisions tend to be a bit more physical due to increased numbers of ball ups. reserve teams would generally beat div 7 sides but the upper div 7 sides would b more than competitive.

c1 grade teams in modbury and tea tree gully will be mid range pushing upwards but will struggl to dominate sides like they're used to - their defences may be found out a tad.

i'm expecting the 5 to consist of mawson lakes, athelstone, the blacks, modbury & glenunga with ttg and shocs very close and causing no surprise if they make the finals.

with regards to north pines and ovingham, they should move into c1 replacing ttg and henley and also play against c grade sides of div 1 teams who theoretically are better than the c grade sides of div 2 and the standard is theoretically closer to div 7.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much
