What are you on about Bubba, we have lost an on baller Lockwood, a wingman Dixon, a full back Mooney and a key defender Lynch and haven't secured anyone just yet. But we do have a young talented B Grade that will fill those spots well, our best recruiting has been getting big Andy Thornton on board and keeping Matty Rowlands around the place, they compliment each other extremely well.

I heard Lockwood got an offer that was too good to refuse at Pirie. Also have heard that Matt 'Bird Watcher' Murnane will be playing at Haven in 2013.

So how good is Lockwood? How will he shape up in the SGL?

He's been linked to Solomontown. It was rumored he was going back Hamley Bridge at first and last month he was linked to Jamestown-Peterborough as I read in the Country footy forum.

Spot on Lutz, it's a bit disappointing since we paid Port Districts for his services on the understanding that he would be at Havens next season but the offer is extremely good 600+ and it would be hard to turn down that kind of coin.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

He only played about 8 games at Haven and I don't know the standard of the SGL, but he is a very good lad though and will fit in wherever he goes.

Probably a bit harsh on the kid even if he did muck up - there are plenty of things worse his age group are doing in society so perhaps put it into perspective

Obviously he is still growing up and an AFL environment will help him do that and give him the best possible opportunity to enhance his talent but also make him into a fine role model

He gets the chance and all credit to him, how he chooses to uses it is up to him

But I think the kid deserves to be cut some slack as I am sure if we all look over our past we have done things that aren't the best; its just none of us were talented enough to be talked about on a forum 8)

Probably a bit harsh, jesus. The kid was 16, getting verbally and physically taunted throughout the game to put him off and you are making a big deal about the way he reacted. Maybe the real problem here is the way your club treated him. Get over it Hoodlum, this is amatuer footy out in the local park, sh*t happens. Good luck to the lad, i'm sure he will be spewing about that day at North Haven when he has played 100 AFL games and earning 200K a year.
Hoodlum, would it be water off a ducks back because you get called a D**khead so often?????

Do I feel a hint of jealousy creeping in. Just because you were never good enough for the big time and are stuck at north haven playing Div 5 football. Congrats on your achievements idiot.

The fact of the matter is Tim is a gun I have had the pleasure of playing on the same team as him for a number of years and know what a talent he is. I wish Timmy all the best in his pursuit of AFL football. As for you hoodlum quite living in the past. Did it erupt into something ugly? No.

It may have put a dampener on a good game but it's in the past why don't you leave it there.
