Gone for a couple of roughies this week...

Hmmm. :-k , Should I be pleased you've tipped us or offended to be thought of as a roughie?

Just be pleased Rog

I can see your tips being pinned up in the rooms, and guys weeping with joy at the thought you're on board FC
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.

SPOC to beat SMOSH, 4 goals
Scotch to get over Iggies in a close one.
Salisbury to upset the Hawks, keep things very interesting...
Portland over Woody South, under a kick.
Para Hills to knock over Walkies, 3 goals.

Pag, middle was rock hard last week, and not smooth - very jagged. A bit of rain during the week should have softened it up nicely...

St Peter's OC kicked 6.3 to 1.0 in the last Q to overturn a 25-point 3QT deficit after only kicking four goals in the first three Qs.

Good win by our boys today. Had to come from behind to win it, first time this year we've done that.
Salisbury officially relegated today, sorry to see you boys go. But in all honesty you have a lot of work to do for next year, dont know your D grade score but as a club you only kicked 7 goals for the day in your A B C grade. Worrying times at Cappegreco park?

You blokes did that against us, we were 8 points up early in last term i reckon. Thought you guys would match up pretty well against Walkies. As i have said several times, they are suspect to genuine attack on body and ball.

Great effort by SPOC, they seem to be able to click up a gear when required. Sign of a very good side.

Happy with our effort today against a depleted Woody South. Led by 9 goals at half time and cruised from there. We go above them now, need to win 1 of next 2 to assure our place in D3 next year.

Still an interesting couple of weeks ahead, at both ends of the ladder !

Was a disappointing day, although if you saw the state of Mitcham's oval, you'd understand why there was only 15 goals kicked in the main game, and only 12 in the magoos. Half the oval was mud (I thought Hardy Hit said it was in good nick?), although to their credit, they probably adapted to the conditions a bit better than we did.

Is not much fun to go down, disappointing we won't get to go around against you Para Hills boys next year, but that's life. We'll go back down and work to get back to see yas in 2010.

After looking at Premiership table, Percentage and who plays who
Reckon that Portland will finish 5th. Big call I know but do the maths
Imaging if winning all those close games earlier in season.
Is Felch still looking to be the Coach???? - he is the Great One

Mitchams oval was in good nick..... ;) after thursday it pouring down all training it just ruined the oval leaving boggy patches all around, mind u the Salisbury center wasnt any better. The R race has become very interseting in the next few weeks which will have many make or break games for the division.
Edit: 2011?

We are still a mathematical chance for sure, but would need other results to go our way, as well as win both remaining games. Happy at this stage to be in 8th spot !!!

I think people in the eastern suburbs idea of a decent deck is slightly different to us western and northern folk Pag... ;)

Thought the Mitcham surface was ok by its usual standards last week, but still fairly ordinary.

Felch - you sent me a text today saying you were a shoe in for the Finals and that you
were looking to be the Coach next year. Think you are just holding back a little mate.

Dont want to give the opposition too much ammunition do you. Tell everyone what you
really think and that you WILL make the finals easily.

Haha, im guessing thats what you meant when you said you were going to stitch me up...

Fair enough.

Yeah, we have it real easy over the next fortnight. Only have to beat a 2008 D2 side, at their deck, and then beat a seasoned D3 team. And, let me add, both are fighting for 5th spot too !!!

Piece of cake, get on us !!! ;)
