Will be pretty embarassing for Woody South if they are relegated after all the money they have spent on players and coaches.
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

What about Fitzgerald ? He was scheduled to go up tonight on a striking charge, but now the only case postponed to next week.

Does that mean he is free to play this week ?

It takes time to get your team of barristers ready and Heardy will only have the best.

I love it when you carry the big spoon around Fist. Is it true that M.Leonard has made his knee injury worse? Is it a case of the family drinking from the same watering hole or something in the family genes

Shane Hanson got reported for touching the female umpire...
He slapped her on the ass and said "can i have your number???"
She then got her book out and said "for touching my ass, you're reported so now i've got your number"
He'll get atleast 1 week for it....

Geoff Heard has already worked his magic during the game to get Fitzgerald back on the ground during the game. He was reported for striking in the 2nd quarter and red carded. At half time, Old Iggies officials were notified by the reporting umpire that Fitzgerald had been sent off for the remainder of the game.

GH then hurriedly had an animated conversation with the umpires near the Scotch bench, with quotes such as "you can send him off for the rest of the game if you want to, but most umpires would only give him 10 minutes off the ground". Lo and behold, Old Iggies are then informed that Fitzgerald can come back on at 3 quarter time now. Is it right for match day officials to pressure umpires like this?

Interestingly enough, Scotch were a few points up at 3 qtr time when Fitzgerald came back on, and Old Iggies ran all over them in the last quarter to win by 5 goals. Perhaps they would have been better off without him.
