A couple of grabs he took in the last quarter were freakish.

Good effort from our lads though.

Just looking at the Woody South/Walkerville results, how can Woody South's Bs beat a side that hasn't lost a game, and then lose the A Grade by over 20 goals?

how was the strip night down salisbury way sat night Pag???

It was shattering to see that result as we thought we'd kept our slim finals chances alive with a gritty win against Portland
All the results from the weekends games seemed to have went accordingly until i saw the Old Ignatians result
When i saw a 10 goal win to Old Ignatians, i thought it was a misprint
Any Para Hills people care to elaborate on what happened?

Shattering? Some of us were pretty happy with that result.

I dont normally barrack for Para Hills
But when you're 1 win and 5% behind Old Ignatians prior to the weekends game i had no ther option ;)
I thought if we could beat beat Portland and Para Hils gave Old Ignatians a touch up we would have been even on points and only percentage behind
Instead Old Ignatians are still a game in front and the percentage lead has blown out to 8%

i try not to personally attack people on this forum but this bloke should not be aloud to play football in the saafl again, when running off the ground after giving away 2 crucial 25 m penalties in the last quarter taking our player to the goal line for a certain goal, he kicked our runner when he was heading back to our coaches box, mind you if i hadnt had a kick for 3 and a half quarters of footy i may also resort to kicking officials, it was one of the lowest things i have ever seen on a footy field, dont know if scotch are handling the matter but it didnt look good when he was chaired of the ground. i will be very dissapointed if my club doesnt try and take this further.

They all had teeth mate. A couple of the boys who organised it went into the city a couple of weeks ago and did some research, tough job, but they came through with the goods. :D

And I think Scotch's number 10 was the bloke that kicked 13 on us earlier in the year. :?

hahah im sure the researches would have had a very tough time of it. that number 10 was far from kicking 13 on the weekend mind you he did take a hanger that was not payed resulting in him giving the 2 25s away, still kicking is in my oppinion as low as spitting on someone, should not happen on a footy field

Hold up! before we go slamming Scotch's number 10, it would be very interesting to hear from Scotches point of view. We had problems with Portland's runner only a fortnight ago. Maybe the runner finally got what he deserved! Was the runner doing what he was supposed to be doing? or was he being a d%$#head again?

I did. I saw from about the 10 min mark of the second quarter, but it was already all over (10 goals to 3). Para Hills were very ordinary in their discipline, however it had no bearing on the result.

When I turned up, I saw a very dedicated side and a very ordinary side. Complete contrast to the last time I saw them play each other.

It was only early in the last that Para Hills kicked (I think) 5 in a row to add any respect to the scoreboard.

Still no excuse for kicking a bloke either way Hardy Hit.

Should our coach have kicked your coach for being a d!psh!t after our game ? Think about it...

Player in question did retreat very quickly to the safety of bench when he realised he may have bitten off more than he could chew...

All history now anyway, we wont be taking it any further. More important things to worry about than that.

The runner is the same as most runners ive ever encountered. Gives his messages and when getting of the ground if running past someone may say something to see if he gets a response!

Here is what happened on the weekend HH.
#10 took an absolute hanger which was denied by umpire (it was a mark), he lost it at the umpire resulting in him giving 2 x 25m penalties which portland got a goal from. Must be a scotch rule if ya give one your off as he just started running to the bench! Our runner who had run a messge to someone in the middle of the ground was returning to the bench at same time. Next second all we see if number 10 kick the runner, which made the runner stack it. Was a weak and spineliess thing to do. Do you think kicking is a good thing HH?? if you do then you are also a weak spineless prick!!!

coincidently yes. i have no doubt that our runner would have got in his ear but it still does not excuse kicking on a football field. i think we all at some stage in our time in footy have been got into by an opposition runner, does that mean we are all excused to boot them?
