Would have thought the loss of Martinello to FP would have done more harm than good! whats changed from last year BFG, new recruits or just bonding better as a team?

I havn't seen any A6 games this year, but have been following results closely and getting a bit of info from this forum. Is the competition really this close? Are the top 2 or 3 pretty much sewn up? Any smokey's for the flag/ I know it's only half way through the year, but would like to hear any thoughts.

All I can say is "play on" at this point but your first and final warning is now.

Inappropriate posts including pot shots at individuals or clubs will be removed and you'll be going on a holiday. Posts that contain information for alleged " ugly incidents" will also be removed- we don't need these promoted within our league.

As a couple of people have pointed out to me, there's' no point in punishing everyone for the actions of a few.

Div 6 is a great comp this year and there's plenty to talk about without resorting to making it personal.

Happy posting.

Lisa

Good job FC. Div 6 is clearly passionate, but it's good to read the real footy. :ymhug:

It is definately that close, an example would be Ingle Farm who are sitting bottom with only 2 wins, but led both Mawson Lakes & Woodville South deep in the last quarter before running out of legs and being over run late to lose by a goal or two. They also got within 4pts of Blackfriars early in the year in the last quarter before losing by 3 goals.
CLG beat Trinity away from home only a couple of games ago and then beat Houghton last week who beat them in Rd 1
Lockleys won on the weekend over Woody South who beat them Rd 1
Mawson Lakes beat Woody South early in the year.
Central United beat Mawson lakes last weekend after losing earlier in the year to them.

Any given day, any team can win, it's as simple as that.

Phantom, IF reminds me a bit of BOS in 2010. We won 2 games and lost 8 by less than 18 pts each. Just struggled to win in the end. Missing the 5 and getting relegated will be tough this year.

Seriously, you wouldn't get out of bed Saturday for anything less. Errrrrrr.... a win by 25+goals or a contest? Let's face it we would all take the contest any day. :D

I tell ya wat the comp this year is as tight as ever ! i been playing out at cufc for near on 10 years and played alot of div 6 footy and would have to say this year has been the most exciting . To make finals u must atleast win 9 or 10 games therfore NO one is safe as yet . Every win us boys have had this season we have really had to work hard for. Footys a funny game things can change around very quickly. Coming into this second half of the season i believe theres gonna be alot of games in the balance in the final quarter! who will keep there nerve ? only time will tell . Goodluck all .

not sure about the recruits, someone from locks would have a better idea. their midfield is excellent and they have a really good mix of smalls talls speed and smarts. a handful for anyone on their day.

Unless he learns to kick goals in a moon boot, YES....Snapped his Lateral Ligament in the Ankle in 2 places.

Maybe you pass on your Harris Scarfe bag and electrical tape HBF so it doesn't get dirty. ;)
