Corked thigh or strained quad, I thought it was the latter. My money is on him playing, especially when they only have one other goal scorer in the top twenty.

Raiders victorious over Raggies!!! I think the final margin was 10pts. Excellent contest, game could have gone either way, right down to the last couple minutes!
GO YOU RAIDERS!!
Look out Henley next week!! Here come the Raiders!!

.....Is it true??? Did the Crabs beat St Pauls???
I hear what you're saying....It sounds to me like "WAAA WAAA BLOODY WAAA"

Ah, I see. That makes a lot more sense. Sorry Flinders, but I found a crab victory today very hard to believe.
Good luck to Athelstone next week then. Knock those holier than thou "Saints" off for real next week!

Gossy well done to your boys yesterday & on a good year thought you guys never gave up and played some really good football, the 1st quarter may have cost you. Was shocked big Doddy didn't go into the ruck at all but he was very solid at CHF & gee whiz Wilkinson was an angry man yesterday :)

P.s I'd like to thank NG yesterday for his role as 'guest' assistant coach next to our bench, i think he got us over the line :D

Look, the tribunal ruled it was accidental but suspended the player because negligent contact caused the injuries. What's done is done, whatever you may think of the incident or the events in the weeks thereafter can be discussed outside the forum, because it will only invite a three page flame war if discussed here. Anyone wishing to do otherwise can enjoy a week's holiday from SAFooty.

2/4 :( Bad tipping.

History at Mawson Lakes on Saturday as St.Pauls hosted it's first ever final at it's new deck. St.Pauls OS were heavy favourites againts the Flinders Uni Crabs but the Saints had a little monkey on their back. The Saints have a recent history of being knocked out in 'straight sets' and it's last Finals win was way back in 2002. Appropriately Saints Coach Geoff Riddle wore a tie to the match. However the Saints got off to flyer thanks to it's dominant midfield which gave it's forwards ample supply. A six goal to nothing first quater eventuated and it looked like the pre-game bookies had got their odds right. Crabs Coach Ross Brokensha unleashed a scathing attack which generated a more combative Flinders Uni in the 2nd term. Hamish Van Den Itssel was working hard in the midfield, Big Anthony Dodd was giving the Saints defence headaches and Simon Vigar played an extraordinary quater netting 5 goals. With the Saints challenged by the long break the Crabs would have to produce a strong 3rd quater to get back into the contest. This was not to eventuate with the Saints midfield contingent of Kane Zilm, Clinton Stagg and Lachlan Kennett linking up well while using the footy efficiently. Ivan Novosel made welcome return back netting 7 goals while in defence Scott Mumford contained the dangerous Chad Wilkinson. Flinders University would be content with their season having improved on their 8th spot last year, but would look to bolster their stocks particularly in the midfield if they are to challenge for the 2010 flag. The Saints move on to the Knockout Semi against the only Div 7 team it has not conquered in 2009. The Raggies have had the wood on the Saints so far and it will take a big effort from the Saints to take the spoils at Athelstone this Saturday.

Well Done to the Saints this week who were the better team, riddler thought your centre half forward had a blinder and was clearly the best on ground, well big doddy has been strugling with a shoulder for the last 4 or 5 weeks so couldn't expect him to do to much in the ruck, however i thought big Dutchy did a superb job in there all day, as for big Chad he is always angry and well done to the guy you had on him played a good game although to be fair to Chad he didn't get much Quallity delivery and did well to get down for Showtime vigar to bag 6. And i would agree the fisrt 15 Mins cost us dearly as you guys jumped us with 6 to 0 and as the margin was 6 goals in the end. Best of luck to all those still in the hunt.
