Wouldn't think so, that's a ridiculous amount of players lol

gee wiz the last few rounds are gonna be good to see.
going by the rounds left, Rosewater are gonna have a battle on their hands to secure a double chance. gonna have to step up & play finals brand footy to get some momentum going in.
ingle farm getting some good results and would be a smidgin as favourites but the way the top 5 are playing, and we all know what finals can throw at us, who ever wins it this year is going to deserve it.
by the way, what's gate prices for Div6 finals.

Normally $6-$8 with the GF $10 I think.

The bonus for BOS is they have AV and MP to come in their last 5 while the other top 3 have played them both. Add CU to that as well and BOS could end up 1st or 2nd. :)

Admission fee only for grand final.

Are you suggesting BOS will have a percentage boosting win at Central United this week?

seen units play & if given a sniff will make a few sides work very hard for the win. they have an even style that has to have all players contributing, and if they click on the day anything can happen.
cant wait to check a few games out come finals.

Nah, sorry if that is how it came over, it was about points and BOS will beat CU, AV, MP and regardless of percentage, just need to knock off West Croydon and Ingle Farm in round 17 to finish top 2 with a home final at worst at the kiddies ground. :D

Is that it for the Owls' B grade for this season?

It would be foolish to underestimate the Units - even with BOS traveling as well as they are.

They've been improved over recent weeks, and unfortunate not to be knocking on the door of the 5 right now, underestimate them and be complacent and it will bite you on the arse.

The Run Home:
Ingle Farm: Mawson Lakes (A), Rosewater (H), West Croydon (A), Blackfriars (A), Lockleys (H)
A challenging run home for the division pace setter, will need to bring their best each week to get through these 5 matches. Having a consistent side leading into the finals is an obvious key. Tough to beat at home, they'll be looking to lock these in for points and will be gunning for payback against BOS.
Prediction: W3 L2, Finish 2nd

West Croydon: Rosewater (A), Blackfriars (A), Ingle Farm (H), Lockleys (A), Fitzroy (H)
Also with a difficult run home, but with the benefit of the perceived challenges declining each week. Next 2 games away will be difficult, and will shape the remainder of the season, but the Hawks have managed to quietly go about their business and snuck nicely into 2nd spot almost unnoticed. Plenty of fire power up forward, they'll take some stopping if they get going.
Prediction: W2 L3, Finish 4th

Blackfriars: Central United (A), West Croydon (H), Angle Vale (A), Ingle Farm (H), Mitchell Park (A)
Arguably the most favourable draw to finish, hard to see BOS being worried about any of these teams. Have set themselves up nicely early on and are set to reap the rewards.
Prediction: W4 L1, Finish 1st

Rosewater: West Croydon (H), Ingle Farm (A), Lockleys (H), Fitzroy (A), Central United (H)
A couple of tough games in the next fortnight, cusioned by the fact one is at home, then finish with 3 games they would be expecting to win.
Prediction: W 4 L1, Finish 3rd
Lockleys: Mitchell Park (A), Mawson Lakes (H), Rosewater (A), West Croydon (H), Ingle Farm (A)
2 games clear in 5th, 2 games they should win in the coming fortnight will almost be enough. Probably need to find a win in the last 3 rounds to guarantee their spot.
Prediction: W2 L3, Finish 5th on percentage

Outside Chances:
Fitzroy: Angle Vale (A), Mitchell Park (H), Mawson Lakes (A), Rosewater (H), West Croydon (A)
2 games behind Lockleys, 3 winable games coming up, if I was Fitzroy I would be pumping myself up for Rd 17 - Rosewater at home. Snag a win at home against the Dogs and suddenly finals because a genuine opportunity. Percentage boost the key against the lower sides.
Prediction: W4 L1, Finish 6th on percentage

Central United: Blackfriars (H), Angle Vale (H), Mitchell Park (A), Mawson Lakes (H), Rosewater (A)
Along with Fitzroy, need to produce the best 5 weeks of football for their season. A sneaky chance to knock off BOS at home, the draw then softens for Units and finish with a tough slog against Rosewater. Will need plenty to go right.
Prediction: W3 L2, Finish 7th

Massive game at the Kennel this week, if West Croydon get up over Rosies then alarm bells will be ringing at Eric Sutton reserve.. Will be a tough ask to finish top 3 if they lose this week, and will be even tougher to get promoted from 4th in a finals series where you have been beaten by the other 4 potential finalists through out the season.. Very good comp this year div 6
