Im not allured into anything turk. Obviously we arent the only young side going around. More attention has been given to it than other sides though.
Im sure there will be some very good teams in div 4 this year. Hence my not making outlandish statements about our supposed calibre compared to the rest of the competition.

I appreciate your respect towards my intellect. Especially considering you know very little, if anything about me. If only i could compliment with confidence "wink"

Hmmm, wouldnt have us in the top 4 yet. Its good to confident but cant get too far ahead of ourselves. Very well to be proud of what we have achieved over the last few years but have to earn our stripes in a new div, as we did last season.

Never has a promoted side rated themselves as highly as Golden Grove I would've thought.
Top 4?? others talking Minor Premierships??
Why would you possibly think you deserve to finish above Nth Haven and pooraka, regular Div 4 finalists, before you have even played anyone?
Very confident club, can't wait to see how they go...

As Pag ahs pointed out a few times on various threads, im the king of clicher and underselling ourselves and at this level of footy thats the only way to be.

Grow some balls! For christ's sake it's only div 4.

TBS why do you constantly make reference to lower grades as being 'ONLY DIV 4'...................it doesn't matter what grade it is along as you enjoy what you are doing!!
PS. you only play DIV 3 by the way!!

I know I only play div 3. If someone was carrying on about how great that division is and how they will struggle I'd tell them to grow some balls too. Especially with a team like GG who look like they will perform well next year.

im sure it wasnt your intention but it does make you come across like a wa*ker TBS makes it sound like you think your better than people that play a lower div, no offence.
possibly choose your words a little wiser next time

Yeah I know that. But I wouldn't post on here if I was worried about looking like a wanker.

Well unless you play AFL then you are not playing in the best competition/division.................Embrace the Division you play in and enjoy it!! After all isn't that why we all play??

North haven will go top next year, undefeated. some VERY big recruits and a coach with alot of experience. Will definitely be the team to beat and with a big reseason scheduled they will be raring to go after the disappointment of last year

I still think that posting 'predictions' at this time of the year is a fairly large waste of time no matter what division/comp/sport you participate in. The make-up of sides is still relatively unknown and most guys would be unsure of their own lineup let alone the opponents !! It's no surprise that most sides will be hugely enthusiastic and will undoubtedly pump up their own tyres early in the year and you half expect it, but I wouldn't read too seriously into any massive predictions folks... Just enjoy the pre-season and look forward to huge challenges ahead !!
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

it's good to post crap and see what other teams think though(isn't that what this forum is for).............it is the off season but throwing names around never hurt anyone.
When is someone from GG going to mention new players or player movements??

no players to leave as of yet. new players on board that werent last season

scott peterson - GX ruckman the last few season
todd shepard - div 6 association medalist in 07
chad parrish - came to us in 07 but only managed 5 games because of injury, played out at pirie this year

they would be the main ones. a few kids missing out next year at SANFL clubs because of the new 18s comp will bring back 3 or 4 more quality players which should add to our depth
