a interesting game at kenilworth today... i felt plympton were stuck in 3rd gear, just didnt really put the foot down, did enough to win, never really looked in trouble.... however the boys a great job on a big oval and there was some promising signs.. saying that kenilworth are certainly no push overs, i was very impressed with how they continued to have a crack. i could be wrong but i reckon its there 1st year having c's. they wil be very competitive as the year goes on...

on an even better note, the hamburgers are magnificent!!!

im also goin to take quote of the day.. got into very interesting discussion with a central united player who proceeded to abuse me while i was the runner for no apparent reason...
he said to me and i quote "you cant even get a kick in div5"
i replied with "well neither can you einstien".. he didnt say anything else after that and proceeded to hop back in his car...

the last time kenilworth had a C grade side was about 3 years ago. the club has been working hard and with a mix of new players and some older players we have been able to get the team up and running, so far we have been getting 23-25 players on game day which is good. the wins will come along.

Plymton were looking quite good. They managed to move the ball from their backlines to the forwards quite efficently. They had many good marking players and just about marked everything, which made it difficult for the Kenilworth crumbers!

I also thought they were very efficent with setting up their zone, this made it difficult for Kenilworth to clear the footy out of their backlines.

I think Plymton will be a good contender for the flag, however they need to get over Hope Valley who are also playing some good footy!.

Interested to hear views on the woodville south C grade. Very good against both brahma and Plympton but very poor against Lutherans.

Yeah it should be WUB12, our C grade are looking pretty good at the moment at 3 and nil. As a team they've improved so much and it helps Pricey out so much when he has 35 plus players to choose from (15-20 of those played mainly B grade last year), meaning spots are up from grabs and unfortunately a few guys miss out each week.

It is, we have really good depth through all our grades this season, hence while the A grade has improved along with the Bs and Cs who have a good start to the season. I think that across all grades we're continually showing some really good signs. Haha, we'll find out tomorrow mate. :)
