Well B20, if a soap opera has been run after just 2 minor round games....imagine the war if they met in the prelim and one knocked the other out of the finals race.....in fact just imagine the game itself! :axe:

makes me salivate with anticipation... well not quite but it does shape up to be a big one, just imagine though if Houghton knock Henley off and St Pauls beat Athelstone, THEN St Pauls beat Henley...

Houghton V St Pauls GF!!! Amazing!!!!!

What guernsey would you be supporting that day NG if it was the case? Rumour has it your riddlers new ass coach ;) just joking

funny that, i'm not really into ass...

i went and listened to their 1/4 and 3/4 time huddles, i stood between the benches to watch the match and through playing and stickin around after their games i have had a chat to a few of their boys. i would've stuck around up at your joint if it wasn't for the 24 hour drive home (acyually the missus was on my case so i couldn't stay). ultimately it is a juicy matchup that everyone would like to see again and only the spectators would be the winner i think...

GLADIATOR READY.......... CHALLENGER READY...........

on a side note, if i was Riddlers assistant coach, where's my payment?!?
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Hey? "24-hour drive"? Did you 'drive' a skateboard up the hill or something?

Yeah, I know you were kidding, just wanted everyone to mentally picture you pushing a skateboard up that hill ;)

The drive ain't that bad though, I did it from Magill for a couple of years. Although, I'm living across from Pertaringa Oval now and must admit I much prefer a two minute drive to training over a twenty minute one.

For those interested (and many may not be) I have uploaded photos for the D7 and D7R Qualifying Finals (Athelstone v Houghton and Henley) from Saturday to the SAAFL website.

Jared Hawson took a big grab in the D7R.

Go to http://media.saafl.asn.au/photos/ and select the game from the drop down list.

From what I've heard last years 'Runners Up' Lachy Kennett should be thereabouts.

i saw Moorey from Nth Pines last night and he reckons i have a chance!!! HAHA, 1 win for the team for the year, unless i could poll 1's or maybe 2's in every game i doubt it! plus missed 4 or so during the year... AND i've got Jurina takin my votes too!!! mongrel!

Kennett will go well, good tough player and always amongst Saints best, dunno if the rucks get much of a mention but Doddy from Flinders was dominant against us and apparently a few others, should go ok. can't comment on Houghton as i only played them once and they didn't put their 'premier midfielders' on the ball that day, they played blokes like Mudgie in there and he won't get a vote... ;) Henley will have blokes take them from each other, Pitty against us dominated in the air at CHB, couldn't get past him... can't think of anyone else that really killed us this year (apart from most teams.... dang it!!!)

I would be putting my money on a Kennett/Dwyer quinella. Schibani and Tonkin will poll just behind them.

pretty sure he would have picked up a few votes throughout the year, probably got the three against us Rd17 considering he kicked 17 out of the 20 odd.... LeGrand probably got the 2 though...
