Just a quick congratulations to Nick Fanning, who plays his 250th game for the Dolphins this week vs Golden Grove. He is lining up in the 2's, however the most of his career he was a valuable member of the Agrade. He is a highly valued member of the club and we hope that the club can get a win for him.

who is this recruit from seaton LMA??

can't remember his name but he is from Seaton via Port Reserves I believe. Tall, skinny guy who can really jump. Big asset for Haven's though.

Iggles- looks like a gun too...

That's an awesome effort. I'll be sure to congratulate him as I run messages in the B grade game DE. What number is he ?
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

My big tip this week, even though I haven't gone with it in my actual tips is that either North Haven will knock off Greenies or Unley will knock off Fitzroy.

A bit both ways, you either tip them or dont, money where mouth is...

I think the results this week tell us a lot about where sides are at. The surprising result is how easy Golden Grove were beaten.....all the talk pre season was that the Grove were going to waltz through div 4 on there way to div 3.....not gonna happen boys.

I was at Unley v Fitzroy and the result was pretty much as expected although I thought it might have been a little closer. Fitzroy v Greenacres will be interesting next week.

Stayed at Salisbury West for the afternoon. Good game of football. SW played one of the best last quarters of footy Ive seen -10 goals to 1 to win. SW a very different footy club than a couple of years ago. The whole game was played in the right spirit and they won from behind. :ymapplause: to SW, :ymapplause: to the club and :ymapplause: for putting on some beers after the game although most of us couldn't attend as our major function is tonight.

I found the quckest way there and the scenic route home.

And :ymapplause: to Mrs Jimmy for bringing a curry and claret up to me in the Foxtel room after another hard day at the footy At least she realises the hard life I live.........

The Burras were very disappointing today.... 9 goals down at quarter time and lifeless... But an even second half showed we had a bit of fight but that means little if you are going to be down by so much so early. But all credit to CBCOC, they were a very impressive outfit... A long year ahead for us I think but we wont give up or stop trying..

Different coach and a mighty influence by the looks of it. He should drink for free tonight. I had to drink TEDs mate - no Coopers anywhere. Mrs Jimmy does womenfolk stuff on Saturdays supporting her husband whilst he pursues his journalistic dreams. Took the ute instead of the Porsche today - no use tempting fate...........

Thanks,

Witnessed a strange occurence at North Haven on Saturday that surprise surprise involved an umpire and a rule interpretation and I would like some clarification

A player clearly head butted another player right in front of a central umpire who blew his whistle reached into his sock pulled out a red card and marched the offender to the interchage..all good so far...came back to his position on the field indicated the free kick and play went on..still all good..now here is where I get confused...moments later the player is replaced (is this allowed) one bench didnt think this was allowed so they went to interchange steward who said it wasnt a red card it was yellow which means he can be replaced(true) but also stated that the player that came off cannot go back on for remainder of game(f#@k now I am confused) when a runner asked central umpire for clarification he said it was a yellow card (either hes color blind or 60 others are)

Somebody got stiffed here but I cant work out who :?
Was anyone else there that seen it happen??
What should have happened...and yes Ive read the handbook and THINK I know what should have happened. ..Maybe someone from North Haven?? has a view

I thought a red card was no replacement??? Some correct me.
Yellow card that player is gone for 15min, and someone can replace him.
But to be honest im a little un sure.
