What  R u just being funny or trying to blow smoke up everyone's butt? =)) This is so funny i think i will have to print it off for the boys to have a read.

clg too good for trinity yesterday? what game were u watching? 20 points.... and gosh if Trinity had of bloody kicked staright on a number of set shots at goal the score would have been even closer if not in Trinity's favour. Anyone can say but "if" thats very true just trying to point out that clg did not win this game easily, to be honest i thought clg would have won allot easier. I love my team but watching the div 6 results over the last 6 rounds and having a few good players out for TOS yesterday, i thought the TOS boys may go down by anything upto 10 goals. Clg showed Trinity yesterday that the div 6, 2 GF spots r no where near already won. If clg feel they were too good for Trinity yesterday then i think clg need to deflate their heads a bit or otherwise they will see season 08 happen all over again come 09 finals.

Was good to see harvey kick the sealer aswell right infront of the trinity faithful who had been giving it to him all day...he was pretty happy about it... =)) if u think this goal proved anything to Trinitys faithful.. which i might add were a bunch of girls that had Harvey so fired up, they only laughed at him more after he got the goal, they realised a bunch of girls had really got to him that much ahhh haha Ohhh so funny i think the girls awared him the pink tosser head band lol lol thanks for the mention the girls will be so proud they made post lol

TOS boys dirty pfft whatever clg didnt like Trinity keeping the score close all day and didnt like it when Trinity boys gave back as good as they got. Clg have usually walked all over Trinity on the score board and this time clg didnt like that their winning streak might actually come to an end.

Sorry scottroo i could keep laughing and talking about this game but demonseye doesnt like my long posts so i think this one is just long enough to piss him off. Congrats on the win yesterday and goodluck 2 your boys for the season.

We would have 25 injured players at the moment, plus a few more that clearly shouldn't have played but had to. A few late withdrawals from the A Grade required a couple of the stronger B Graders to suit up twice. It's definitely not normal.

Not an ideal situation and I was actually pretty proud how well the lads played considering the depth of players we had missing. For the B Grade to go down by a goal with half a side and the A grade to kick 11 goals against The Lodge with many missing was an admirable effort if you knew the internal machinations of the club.

CLG just getting up tho interesting and west croydon having a good away win.. must of been a cracker match..

as for our match abit sluggish of the lodge but bounced back nicely and taught MP a thing or two..
MP had one stand out player in Nat McDonnell all day played well as for some others just wanted to hit blokes when we were miles in front..

MP coach came over and gave a great speech to us guys after the game.. happy they got a guy like that as coach and if some of them can take a leaf out of his book they will improve without a doubt..

goodluck to MP
Thanks mate. It was a good day I thought, I didn't stay for the whole game and I didn't see anything too untoward. Would be very disappointed to hear of any reports or send offs for Mitchell Park.

Nat was a very good player for us, the heart and soul of Mitchell Park. Some people get a bit confused with the twins, I still do. Luke is the taller twin and generally plays full forward - #1, Nat is shorter and wears #9 and plays half forward/wing.

Darren quite often talks to other clubs after games. He has a great understanding of football culture and we are very lucky to have him on board. He has implemented some excellent ideas both on and off the field at The Den.

Good luck for the rest of the year, I think BL are the side to beat!

Story of our year so far. Can't string it together.

Against Hectorville we played some blindingly good football ... for a half ...

We need to get more blokes out on the track and training. If we have inconsistent numbers and people on Tuesdays and Thursdays we will have inconsistent Saturdays.

Thought BL were a very slick side, not as big as everyone on here kept touting, you guys have plenty of runners and midfield flanker types than can kick long and find a target. CLG are a good side too but I think BL are the strongest team we have faced thus far.

I really don't know about injuries until tomorrow night. Don't worry, in the A grade we will still have a very heavily depleted side this week.

Fullback - C.Rogers
Full Forward - D.Bates
Ruckman - R.Schutte
Starting Centreman - A.Dowsett
Centre Half Forward/2nd Ruckman - C.Ryan
2nd Leading goal kicker - C.Rivett
Gun recruit and previous B and F Winner - D.Gelven

All players would be walk up starts in any team in Div 6 and will all be missing against Trinity. Out of Saturdays team from the previous week was T.Potuszynski, C.Varnas, L.Darrington, M.Davidson and yours truly. Not sure how many of these guys will be playing. I don't think I will be.

However, we will be doing our utmost to arrest the trend of playing in patches! It does make it hard when we are averaging 6 or 7 changes a week.

Yeah, the Heng boys can run through the lines, hard at it too. I gave all three brothers votes. They were very good. To then suit up after playing so hard in the B Grade was a marvelous effort and very well received by the lads.

We have a couple of backs, a few knees and broken arms/wrists. A couple were missing due to work or family commitments. I missed due to cracked/bruised ribs but managed to play a half in the B Grade. Thanks to the Glenunga full forward for that one!

That means we would have had the pleasure of playing togeather. What position were you playing?

I only asked about the injuries because we seems to have had what i thought was a higher then normal amount of groin injuries this season.

Just joining this conversation late - so please correct me if I'm wrong - but I believe Trinity lost the game by 21 points. So Cheerleaders were too good weren't they? If Trinity were better then they would've won - wouldn't they?
