westies are the real deal as we said a couple of weeks ago so both div 6 teams are going very well with pulteney only getting up by 2 goals over them

blacks back in form as well with plympton to strong at home

all credit to farmers today..they never played a loose man or flooded all day..they tried valiantly till the end and there was no undisciplined acts..we play our nemesis elizabeth this week at home so hopefully some confidence will be back in the players heads now

All well and good for these farmers to get the credit and respect they craved considering their position, but i feel its now time for these lads to take the positives and run with it, build on it and put the results on the board...

After being inspired by Choccies great work on the div. 4 thread, I have tallied everyones tips so far this season and drawn up a table. If you missed a round, you get equal to the lowest score for the round and is marked in red. I have only put those names that have tipped more than once, I am happy to include any others as I have all of the tips. Just send me a pm to register your interest.
I will post it shortly, once I can work out how it can be done readable.

A trip in the back of a ute just inside the boundary at half-time of the div.5 Grand Final. We'll see if we can line up 2 free passes to it aswell, or I'll hold the fence open while you and a friend get in at least. ;)

I should imagine it would with your positioning, I guess that's the difference when you get to tip on games that don't affect your own club. I know I do better with my div. 7 tips. ;)

Yeah good stuff LM. Adds a bit of extra interest to it.
Looking forward to heading out north this week. Been a few years since I've played out there and certainly dont have many wins (if any!) out there so will be looking to change that this week!
We are a drinking team with a football problem!

It was a full moon last weekend. A quick run down then Ace, 1 player from the B's reported in his first game for the club another from the B's who has played only a few games, it was a pretty physical match, still, we;re out there to play football. 1 player from the A's reported for a reckless hip and shoulder. 1 player from the 18's last week for abusing the umpire, another this week for the same thing I believe, if you check out who umpired the game, you could see why he could be a little frustrated. It was a bit of a joke, an umpire who had played for many years for the same club that he is umpiring in and is notorious for frustrating the hell out of players, I was also told by one of his colleagues that he was stood down from umpiring any senior games for the weekend.
As far as the investigation, it is over something that we had no control over and have assisted the Pulteney FC 100% and will do with the SAAFL too.
So to answer your question, no "aggro pills" have been suppiled and it was just a bad week after having a long spell out of the limelight, we will continue to improve as a club.
I'm pretty sure that any Blackfriars posters would agree that it was a pretty mellow day down at Smithfield Oval last Saturday, as it has been for quite some time now.
Enough said, play on.

That's a bummer - I wasn't posting my tips because there was no scorer. Now I have to start with a handicap............I feel like Phar Lap in the 1930 Melbourne Cup
