BFD, that's quite aggressive for somone in your position. All I can say to you NG is well done, but don't get too carried away, one swallow doesn't make a summer, or winter for that matter.

Maybe just have a 2nd serve of Humble Pie Aceman.

Just goes to show, other than the Sharks, Saint & perhaps the Rams, no one is safe in Div 1. Who would have thought Gaza would be in the 5 after sitting on the bottom of the ladder 5 weeks ago...

Don't have to eat humble pie mate, just observing how you are a bit like a "willow tree', you bend and you sway depending on the results and the coach gets a reprieve from you this week.

I think Gepps play you in a couple of weeks so I'm looking forward to you coming up and introducing yourself NG.

I think if you check your facts Aceman, I have never personally ditched the PDFC coach in any post. I think you might be getting me mixed up with 1eyed & District Boy 09.

As for coaching problems, I seem to remember Gepps Cross having their fair share of coaching problems over the years. Sackings mid season and the like. Ha, ha, ha!!

If you can bring yourself to getting out of the Pokies Area at the Northgate Sports Club, then I am very happy to shake your hand.

FYI NG, have not played poker machines at Gepps for around 10 years, not interested in them so you're wrong again with that comment. I will be under the verandah mate, ask anyone you see, they will point me out. See if you're game or not!
Coaching problems, yes a couple of years ago and gone mid year. Had nothing to do with me and to be frank, it was better that it happened when it did because it gave the club the best option to get over it and go forward which has happened, rather than have snipers in the background having "50 cents eachway" as EVERY club has, depending on the weekly results .

Where did the gullies go wrong? Sounds like they had a cracking start and then just stopped.

At qtr time, Gullies looked like they would win by 15+ goals...

However, Pt Dist played very accountable footy, particularly thru the midfield.

Shane Catteral (#6) has a great game once again and Smitham was back to his creative best.

TTG will bounce back - as for Pt Dist and despite the win a tough few weeks lay ahead! I reckon if we could win 2 out of the next 4 games we would be happy.

5 win will keep you safe from relegation in 2009. 8 wins will probably get you in the finals??

Totally agree with you Aceman - that why Gepps Cross still have a long way to go before they can add to their pultry 2 A grade SAAFL premierships...
