Both clubs would have had to agree to a triple header though and request it. Blame the league, blame the clubs, blame whoever. It's disrespectful regardless of who's fault it is...

[quote="S Demon"]Plympton 14.11 95 v North Haven 2.2 14

just a quickk note on todays game, i thought plympton worked hard all day, especially losing some key players in the 1st 10 minutes. bit wasteful at times espcially going forward and in front of goal... however the score line doesn't reflect the pressure Nth Haven put on, especially in our forward line... also considering they only had about 13 blokes on the field 15 minutes prior the game and ended up playin with the i think 18...
looking forward to the uni game next week.
bit of a upset (just going on the talk on here and what i saw last week) with flinders park and uni losing.. lutheran are goin good..
looks like its going to be a tight comp this season...

You pay your respect at one of the Dawn services today. I did
Most of the Service personal and ex-members from the 3 services will be half tanked by the time the 1st games get underway today.
This talk of being disrespectful is rubbishToday games are about the fighting Aussie sprit and playing footy is the best way we can show this and the respect we show before the bounce of each game.

Remember the old diggers luv thier footy!

The nothing before 12 tradition stems from making everyone available for the march in the city i believe, correct me if i'm wrong.

So yes it is a bit disrespectful, as i believe some traditions should be upheld.

I was at the holdfast shores dawn service and will be watchingthe march on tv.

Yeah it doesn't help Pricey and the boys where blokes don't turn up and don't get in contact with someone to say they cannot play. A few blokes did get injured which didn't help the C's cause aswell. Pricey and the lads will be looking for a full team and a better performance next week against Lutheran.
