surprises me, was shopping himself around at one stage, i know we had chats with him and he wanted mega bucks for div 5, gun player tho

Bubba do you know anything about a NH tall forward calling him late on a weeknight intoxicated explaining how much Haven needed him because this individual was sick of picking up balls from his boot laces and if he had decent delivery he would kick well over a 100 goals and win the Flag?

Lol. The Bussman would never shop himself around! ;)

And as much as I love the man, I doubt exquisite delivery to the forward line would be one of his many listed talents!!

Thanks to the North Haven crew for making me feel welcome last evening at the club. Thorny asked me to take a couple of drills and I thoroughly enjoyed getting out there amongst a group of blokes who were happy to soak up the knowledge and take in everything that was being directed their way.

I'd be happy to have another session with you guys if the time permits. Best of luck guys.

Cheers

Woodville South Football Club is saddened by the news that former SAAFL player and A grade and under 18's coach at WSFC Morgan Armstrong passed away earlier this week. This news is very hard to take for many at the club as many believe that Morgs helped shaped them to be the player they are today. Morgan is now resting peacefully with the memories of a Woodville South double fresh in his mind. Even though fighting illness Morgs still made it out to all the finals games and the players certainly did him proud. He was a major contributor to the club and we are forever grateful.

I send my condolences to the Armstrong family and wish them the best in this tough time.

Depends on if you looking for fact or fiction..... If its the latter check the posts pre Christmas... much of it makes for light hearted reading and a giggle......otherwise I would wait for the SAAFL to post the Clearances on the 1st February.

It really is quiet on here! Everyone must still be on holidays?

Any news on anything from down Kenilworth way? Training yet? Numbers? Recruits? Forecast for the season ahead? Lost any players?
