So its official Elizabeth will be fielding a D grade side!
Do we have any further idea on who will be in C5 and C6?
Looking for a couple more guns if anyone's keen to sign on!

Any idea when we may see draft draws for the C grade divisions?

uni still in c5 after destroying everyone in 2017..just give them the flag now and the rest of the division can have the year off..

The league quite happy to run with a bye in D7 too

I'm sure it will get fixed, but the fixture currently has us playing Woodville South and Elizabeth away twice

they would finish mid range most years in div 7 with the current team..this years a bit harder with marion and osb in there..the league needs to look at the scoreboard in the gf 2017 and realise its only a matter of by how far in 2018..at least promote them one grade or join the c3 with the c5 and go to div 7..take the bye out of the senior grade..

I reckon there's still changes to come with this div (and I don't mean administrative stuff like H and A listings)

Might turn those frowns upside down ;)

With Uni dropping from Div 7 & Div 7r they will be stronger this year, How many "C" grade division are they in? They could win every "C" division. I would rather they where in Div 7 to get rid of the bye.

2017
1, 1R, 7, 7R, C1, C5, C6

2018
1, 1R, C1, C3, C5, C6

So they've dropped one team from last year. Para Hills or Luthies in C5 would make more sense given that they are Div 6 clubs

From what we played last year and watching their c1 & c5 sides last year. They would very competitive in Div 7 / Div 7r

The League hasn’t made any C and D grade team play in an A grade competition for a couple of seasons now.

It is by choice only.

You should be thankful TTG wanted to stay up., otherwise they'd be taking up a C1 and C6 spot as well.

I don't know why the League didn't force them up a grade anyway.

For what it's worth it's a pity we don't still have the D8/8R grade (understand that the push to triple headers knocked it over).

As someone whose played in C and D Grade Comps having gone through years both winless and undefeated the two seasons I played in 8 and 8R were the most evenly balanced Comps I've played in in 10 years of lower grade footy.
