I'm astounded to see some pundits are tipping West Croydon to knock off Brahma.

With all due respect, WC are a far inferior side to BL.

BL by 10+ goals, if they're switched on they can make an emphatic statement to those within the division that still have their doubts about BL, obviously there is still a few, which is hard to comprehend in my opinion.

I agree but disagree.....there is no doubt that BL are the benchmark of the comp so far, and their results speak for themselves. But the hawks have the uncanny ability to cause the upset of the century, just ask anybody from HV. I would tip brahma in this one, but the side that WC have this year, fit and firing are capable of causing an upset and wouldnt be surprised. Good luck to both sides tho in what looks to be the game of the round for D6.

i think west croyden are similar to BL in regards to they both play well on small grounds and they have bigger bodies so will be interesting how BL will go. when you compare the other top teams BL have beat (clg and lochleys) who rely a lot more on running

It depends on which version of West Croydon rock up tomorrow.
If it's the version that Paralowie played against i'd be suprised if it was only 10 goals. The first 8 minutes was good but after that the Roos never let us anywhere near it...

Oh yeah, which 'carey' is Dutchy???

I'm sure BL's coaches would be hoping the players don't have the same views going into tomorrows game.
BL are obviously the team to beat in this comp atm and a West Croydon win would be the upset of the season so far (captain obvious) but the beauty of football is one can never take anything for granted.
In fairness, the 2 that have selected West Croydon to win are a past coach and a past player so there may be some bias (and hope) behind their selections. :)
While i'm not about to make any predictions about the outcome, i will be interested to see where our young group are at compared to the vastly more experienced ladder leaders. For both teams to have already exceeded last years results (wins) is a good start to the rebuilding of their clubs.

Trent has been 'just ok'
He has kicked 10 in 3 games but has really been up and down.
Think its safe to say we have seen the best and worst of him so far
Playing the role he is can be a bit hit and miss so only his coach would be so critical of him...but he loves it

thats spot on it feels good to be in the winners circle instead of getting smashed each week and losing hope.. more people staying at the club saturday nights which is great.. thats why i cant see the hunger to win for the lodge going away untill the very end.. im sure west croydon will throw every thing at us and i cant wait and just a point WC have to play us and then CLG so its going to be two hard games in a row..

BL will give West Croydon a hiding, there backline struggles and BL forward line should have a day out. CLG will give Locklys a hiding tomorow as well. Lockleys to have 7 or 8 of their best out either injured or overseas. Trinity, Paralowie and Hectorville should all win comfortably as well.
