Woody North by 11 points in a fantastic game of footy. CLG pushed hard in the last quarter to get within 2 points but just couldn't get in front. Well umpired game. Number 19 for WN kicked about 6 goals and was the difference IMO

Hahaha. Don't worry PG, just keep Houghton below you and hope a Div 7 C grade team plays in the GF and you will be able to stay in Div 6 and do it all over again.

Went out to watch my beloved Woody Sth boyz play CLG in both A's & B's. Its a pity our B's went down by 3pts but the game should never have got that close. Woody Sth up all day until 1min left when CLG snatched the lead. BUT FOR SOME REASON TRUE OR NOT, the final siren blew 45sec too early when the ball was to be thrown in in WS forward 50, right near the behind post. Some confusion and even the umpire agreed it was blown too early!!!
The umpire was going to make an official report about the incident.
The umpiring for that game was average, both umpires made woeful decisions, but i did think that CLG umpire was the worse of the 2!
So that now leaves CLG clear at the top with WS sitting 2nd.
Now onto the A grade, well umpired for most, couple little woeful decisions but you get that. WS lead for most if not all of the day and would get themselves into a comfy lead (5-6 goals) but CLG would always chip away and fight back to within a few points. WS couldnt seem to put CLG away. Cliffford was OUTSTANDING today kicking 8, he gave the CLG DEFENSE A BATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fullback couldnt compete with bomber in the air. Stubby was also very good kicking 5. Harding was good across half back today for WS.

:? How the hell would the umpire know!?!

On umpires though, kudos to the Mawson Lakes B grade umpire, I thought he was very good and arguably the best 'B' grade umpire I have seen all year.

He may have some competition from A. Watson from Mawson Lakes, although playing A's the last two weeks won't help Watto's chances.

yeah gr8 coverage of the the game you knob - the CLG b's were down by 6 goals and slowly pegged back the lead and hit the front with 2 minutes to go. Woody sth team of old men fell in a hole and didnt deserve to win in the end - the behaviour of your umpire was a disgrace - lose with some dignity!! The A's was a cracking game and probably the better team didnt win in the end - bad kicking is bad footy - ask bomber who the best team they have played this year and he will say CLG!
