Oh well, hopefully we can continue to change the top 5 and close relegation door at the same time!
Will Houghten continue to rest players??
Umpires were nothing special, 2 sent off for nothing, numerous 25m penalties!

i think the youth of lockleys is dangerous and clg play well as a team with youth as well..wos are good but might not be as hungry as others..and i think valleys are going real fine..with b grade depth if they get injuries
I cant really disagree with any of that. I think Lockleys and finals pressure could be a real test for them because of their youth. I will be honest and say that Hope Valley have surprised me a little since i have been there, they have quite a few more than handy players about the place and have the right attitudes towards training etc. and i think the win at CLG certainly sent a message to a few sides. I reckon Heccies will struggle finals time and Conway could be the difference upforward for WOS. Will be a very open finals series, but for the 1st from me Go the Valleys!

So if any trainer wants to use any rolling pin or any other object on a corky you are mad if you let them!

So for any boys that suffer with this injury in the future my advice:
A corky is a direct blow to a muscle which causes a rupture to the muscle that bleeds, the bleeding will then become a blood clot or haematoma in the muscle or in easy words a lump.
If the blood clot (Corky) is disturbed eg by hard rubbing, the bleeding will continue and the corky will continue not to heal. Best way to treat a corky and reduce the bleeding in the muscle: ice for 20mins every 2 hours for approx 48 - 72 hours after injury occurred, the thigh should be rested and raised as much as possible and an absolute must is a compression bandage its limits bleeding and lump formation and also reduces the swelling. As FC said stretching is also a must (light stretching).
If any rubbing is to be applied it should only be done after 72 hours and only very gentle soft tissue massage should be applied!
No heat should be applied as it only increases bleeding.
Also no alcohol should be consumed! As if any one listens to that advice!!!

Brahma Lodge have the tough run home, playing Lockleys and Hope Valley away and WOS at home. Although noone expected them to beat Heccies, it would be tough for them to win any of those games.
I think it will come down to the last game of the season for the other one, Houghton vs Glenunga. Loser to be relegated.
Crucial match this week between West Croydon and Trinity. Winner is clear of relegation, loser is still in the mix, particularly if any of the bottom three jag unexpected wins. Glenunga also plays West Croydon next week.
Having said that, we may have to wait and see what pans out in Div 7. Also I was told a story about Central United folding next year if a new club is formed nearby.

interesting if 2 x c grade teams play in the gf in div 7 and the implications it will have as i assume they wont be seeking promotion..and the units situation is also interesting..where can they fit another team in, in that area??

Re. the new club, was told it would be Salisbury something, lets see how that one pans out anyway.
Wouldn't you be hating it if CLG and WOS went up to Div 5, Paralowie and Angle Vale up to Div 6. You'd have several long road trips, out to Trinity, our ground (if we make it), Hope Valley

At least they'll know the way, they had to travel to Ingle Farm, Smithfield, Greenacres, Elizabeth, Central United and Golden Grove this year, all in the space of about 8 or 9 weeks. Blackfriars was their 2nd closest.

Straight out of the text book, well done...![]()
I beg to differ, Corkys are my favourite thing to deal with, and I always get a good audience for a corky rubout..
I use neither thumbs nor rolling pins
