Season so far & next round will make or break some teams as looks like 10-11 wins needed to make finals this year...

FITROY 7-1 59.4% Loss to Lions brings em back to the field & loose Top spot but win see em outright Top!
CBCOC 6-2 66.0% A win for the Dolphins go to the Top at the half way point if the Bulls also win!
SALISBURY WEST 6-2 57.6% If win the Tigers can also go Top 1 or 2 at mid season if the Lions loose!
PAOC 5-3 60.8% A win for the Red's will see em looking for a Top 3 finish & the double chance at finals!
POORAKA 5-3 52.7% If the Bull's loose it make it a hard fight & also leaves 5th spot open Dragon's & Kooka's!
GREENACRES 4-4 48.8% A loss will be a big blow to the Dragon's finals hopes but win keeps the finals alive!
GOLDEN GROVE 3-5 48.6% Is a must win for the Kooka's otherwise will need 7 wins from last 9 games to play finals!
ADELAIDE LUTHERAN 2-6 43.2% A win will give the Doggies some much needed breathing space from relagation zone!
UNLEY 2-6 42.3% Can the Jets get a win & magically escape going down to Div 5 again? Only time will tell!
NORTH HAVEN 0-8 22.4% Looks like Div 5 next year unless the Magpies can win 4 or 5 of their remaining games!

Big games in Round 9 will set up a great second half to the season!

No wonder Fitzroy, CBC and SW are the top 3 - they've played one more game than the rest

Good snapshot there Roaring Lion. I agree, would seem like you'll need to win 10+ to guarantee finals which looks to be out of play for a couple sides already.

Bring on next week, it might iron out the season a bit more I feel.

Well.........winter is kicking in, and in my opinion, its going to be a wet one. This changes the dynamics of the competition.
In my opinion, the big mover in the back 9 will be Greenacres, and the scourge of old scholars football will reappear.........

Pretty boring isn't it - maybe they should give Shrek a weeks pass to liven things up

Last night:

Mrs Jimmy: Which footy are you going to tomorrow?
Jimmy: Its a bye - no game
Mrs Jimmy: So you are staying home tomorrow
Jimmy: Looks like it
Mrs Jimmy: So we can go through your wardrobe and get rid of all of the old clothes
Jimmy:

:)] :)] :)] :)] :)] ...........off to the State rugby match at Parkinson Oval today

I have heard that Ricky O'Loughlin may well be playing at Salisbury West for the remainder of the season.
Can anyone confirm?
