We have played most teams twice and just wondering who people believe will be in amongst the team of the year from WSFC.

Having seen you guys twice Catters I got to say Adam Clifford has to be a certainty at either end of the field, he's my favorite opposition player to watch when he's on. Ahmed is an interesting one was shocking against us 1 game but then the next was brilliant maybe consistency could cost him? Sam Skewes has also had a great year always in the best players and there wouldn't be a better in and under midfielder going round I would think.

I've watched one WS game this year don't know any of the players , the blondish bloke across half back and went through the midfield a bit . Left footer absolutely dominated

Back in '09 our a grade played an elimination final against rosies at their ground. there was the view that the last quarter was about 3 minutes short. we lost by a coule of points after cahring back into the game. in the end the lesson was learnt, don't have your time keeper sitting somehwere else if you feel they should have some oversight of timekeeping during the game. by my watch (without stopping for time on) that quarter went 26 minutes which is about the norm. maybe if we didn;t give them a 5 goal head start noone would have cared. no one complained on the day, they just took it on the chin.

Having also kept time for many a and b grades, people only care when its close and the game is almost over. i've been accused of cheating by people who have stood somewhere else all day and would have no idea.

imo, it only reflects on the individual who is making the accusations of cheating.

Anyway, back to the footy ....

Woody South v Houghton - super tough gig for Houghton. Could almost seal the minor premiership for the cats based on percentage
Lockleys v lakes - must win for both, have to go with the home side
CLG v BOS - both in good form, can't separate them
TOS v IF - Trinity to consolidate in the 5
Uni v CU - United to continue knocking on the door of the 5

probably three of those games you'd expect to be easy wins for woody sth TOS and CU. IF just need that one more win to jump uni and hope that they can overtake them on percentage. Houghton looked doomed to bottom unfortunately :( great club but cant say i will miss playing up there ;)

Lockleys v lakes is a massive game, lockleys win and they just about guarantee finals berth with a couple of easier games to come. Mawson Lakes need a big scalp as i dont think they've beaten a top 5 side since us in R8? correct me if im wrong please. im just going with Mawson cos i think that they have a bit more to play for.

CLG v BOS, poor kicking at goals and some costly mistakes in the last really hurt us down the stretch. adam clifford barely missing all day then popping the sealer in from the boundary line was not fun to watch either :( really hope the lads can put some "scoreboard pressure" (one of our coachs favourite terms) on BOS on saturday. was a great game out there earlier this year and hopefully we can repeat the result. our backline will need to get back into form after a few of them had their colours lowered, im sure they'll bounce back to take on Hillman and co. pumped for this one!! where am i gonna be playing zed? :P

Mortlock Park mate.. :)

a man with your CV can play anywhere but as a rover BFG..your in good form..dont want to alert sprint and beekeeper to your role :P

i'm sure the BOS lads will review their notes from that encounter in round 6. beaten by a better side that day.
we had a fair side that day so given CLG's form since then BOS will need to be ready to play.
you'd have to put your hard earned on CLG by 4 goals.
this will be a fine spectacle.

i don't know who BFG is. just reply post with a guernsey number or some initials, i wont tell anyone

bos had a couple of good players missing last time...i wonder if horsell and keast will play this week

Not sure if it is easy game for Central United, more like a danger game. They have allready lost to Uni.Ingle Farm and Houghton when most people said they had a easy win. Need to win it if they have any hope of making finals this year.

I believe the player you're talking about is Sam Skewes wears number 17. Often floats around the half back line but plays on the ball. Long left footer.

Yea totally agree with Clifford and I am sure everyone from CLG agrees when he is on he is a great player to watch. Ahmed is an interesting one has been a much more consistent player this year and will only improve as time goes on. Skewes would have to be one of the best midfielders going around the competition purely because he's ability to find his own ball and fight hard for it. Will pole well in the association medal I would have thought.

It's good to know he is getting extra treatment away from the club on his injuries
