this bloke have never speared tackle since coming to cashhaven, he tackles hard and fair, i think mitcham may have complained, because this bloke chased down one of their players from behind both went to ground and the mitcham player hit the centre pitch hard with his head, the umpire awarded a free kick for in the back ( no free kick in it. casshaven should have been awarded the free for incorrect disposal) no umpire has pinged this bloke for a spear tackle.

Funny you should say that fisty, the tackle that was referred to earlier was nothing out of the ordinary, just another example of some clubs writing a letter everytime someone gets hurt but there was a tackle on Mitchams number 2, good player bit of a wank but quality and megahead davis of havens pinned both his arms and drove him to the ground. Smashed his head on the cricket pitch, the sound was gruesome. He was pretty much finished for the day. Good tackle, I felt for the bloke though its a sickening feeling when your pinned like that and you know theres nothing you can do but prepare to have your head smashed.

Yeah great tackle! It's great sportsmanship when you've got someone's arms pinned and you delibarately slem their head in the ground.

No wonder you blokes can't get out of div 4. Too busy trying to hurt people and too stupid to get the ball.

Portland over Ze Lutherans by 75 points, way too physical for the lutherans.
Pooraka over Fitzroy by 25 points, will bounce back this week.
North Haven over Unley, 10 points, Havens injury list is really stretching them this week.
PAOC over CBCOC by 90 points, PAOC thrive against similar styled teams.
Mitcham over Pultney by 60 points, Pultney are finished.

Good Luck to North Haven, Fitzroy, CBCOC, Pultney and Ze Lutherans the rest of you your on your own.

what are you saying big shrek.
what do you want him to do wrap him up in a tackle then place him on the ground gently, toughin up its footy not netball.

and your comment about div 4, the club you play for is div 3 and apparently your only fringe A grade

The club I play for is still better than yours and we don't go around trying to hurt people. If I was fringe I would assume I would have played some Bs by now. Good on you for some try hard personal attack because you've got nothing better to do.

Are you allowed to use the term f*ckwit and f*cking moron on here?
well if you are, big shrek <edited ->. I think you're looking for the adelaide thunderbirds forum, this is a football forum.
When you tackle someone and pin their arms, if they do not get rid of the ball you bring them to ground. Sometimes their head hits the ground, that is just part of the game. The player concerned would have been fine had his head hit grass not a rock hard cricket pitch.

Oh yeah BiG SHREK <edited>

Nice work Ouzo, you've outdone yourself this time.. nice knowin ya...

You guys are always whinging about getting in trouble with Tynte St. My guess is that you aren't the helpless victims you claim to be and actually deserve the attention.

Here's a tip. Change your mentality, attack the ball instead of trying to hurt the person who has it and you might win a few more games.

I'm sick of hearing how you belted someone but you should be allowed to because it's not netball.

If you're good enough to pin the arms, you're probably good enough to NOT slam their head in the turf.

I agree Quichey, I remember they were talking about whether such a tackle should be taken to the tribunal after the first showdown this year. I don't believe that slamming someone's head into the ground is any better than punching them. The intention and end result is the same.

Actually, I tackle to get 'em holding the ball or incorrect disposal, hence the pinning of one or two arms. If you don't get the free at least it can result in a turnover.

all that was said was that mitchams pitch is too hard and is actually dangerous to be tackled on
no one has jumped up and said i love tackling blokes head first into the ground!!!
and piccachu is right
u tackle to hurt but in a fair and legal way!!
even when i played college football we were told to tackle to hurt
its a part of the game!
