Thats funny, just saw Roo on Channel 7 footy show. Must have got a chopper to him so he didn't miss the gig.

4 CBC players were diagnosed with Swine Flu today after a trip to Melbourne on the weekend (or it might be 2 were diagnosed and 2 are in quarantine, I was just very shocked by the news!) One of the players is believed to be Josh Hegarty.

I sorta hope my source was pulling my leg, but unfortunately I don't think he was.

The said players didn't go to training on Tuesday I believe.

Flipper, DE?

What a game at dolphin park on saturday!!! Was really good for the boys to get up in a close one after loosing 2 by 1 point. Great to see a return to form by Pilli who kicked a remarkable goal after a inspirational chase and tackle.

Westies are a very good outfit and the game couldve easily gone either way. They seem to kick goals in bags of 3-5 and if you can stop those waves of momentum you go a long way to getting the win. I could see the West players lining up along HB in the last quater just waiting to run the ball out but we restricted that run. They are very counter attack oriented.

Great signs for the brohers with 3 blokes (Sixer, Tanners, Knockers) stepping up and showing they can really play A grade footy and probably made the difference. Few to come back this week, that will have to work back through the B's.

The club hasnt been in such a strong position offfield and onfield for a long time and its a credit to the commitee and coachin staff.

I'll answer that - he started in the B's and has worked hard to get promoted into a very strong A grade and has stayed there

i have said everthing that needed to be said and the post that got deleted meant every word of it and not one beer was drunk that night and the people that needed to read it would of understood what i wrote. When you have played as many games as me not all great players are great people so if you think d jarman is a legend thats up to you i never said nothing about his playing ability i just think you dont need to suck a club dry. I beleive that most of those post where from players that might of played like 50 senior games and have been caught up in the Jarman moment when you have played 270 games and had more than 2 coaches you might understand. thanks for all the big bits its been fun surely you know who this is know hahaha hope you get a flag.

Go Again, congrats on 270 games. Also excellent work on knowing the financial details of our club. Kudos to you for knowing how to judge good people without even knowing them. Great work on questioning fellow posters playing records. Obviously a person of your stature cant be questioned. For any future info mate, just ask me I'll tell you how it is. Come and watch a game and see how disinterested everyone is.

Wowsers hit a raw nerve Wrong Again? I will tell you this, your comical topic/posts have provided nothing but a bit of light reading and comedy for CBC players and committee members. It was a joke. Why was it taken off the site…… It seemed like a personal attack on DJ. How much do you earn a year Wrong Again?

In regards to DJ you ask any of our players and they will tell you it’s a career highlight for them to be taught by DJ. He is also the first to training every night and the last to leave. Grabbing all the footys and cones out, pumping up the balls and socialising with the Brothers. He has watched every single game of B Grade and C Grade when its been a triple header.

Come out and watch/join in us train come to a game on Saturday and then back to the pub after the game. I will be more than happy to show you around even introduce you to DJ. Your opinion will change and you will probably try and have a run in the C Grade or help the trainers give rub downs.

Exactly...............whatever CBC are paying Jarman is still not enough for what he brings to the club and also the league. Anyone who says he is overpaid has got to be joking!!

=D> =D>

There are always going to be people that do nothing but criticise - usually ones that have never achieved and never will, so they dont want others to.

The influx of DJ, Roo, Perrie, Bassett and the SANFL players into the lower grades can do nothing but lift the standard as they encourage the players around, and against, them to work harder.

Only need to read about the Fitzroy player; Nelson, that had to stand Roo - got best player for them and probably played the game of his life. And what a thing to tell your kids. If I was him, I would have got a photo with Roo after the game and stuck it on my mantelpiece

If thats the worst thing you had to hear at the football and that upsets you so much then maybe you should stay home and knit a cardigan. It really isn't that bad.
