Good result by the Dragons at the southern paddocks, umpires did everything they could to get luthern up but Dragons were not to be denied. 29 to 17 free kick count, worst umpiring effort in years

Well done to Adelaide Lutheran, they were the better team on the day but didnt get the points, if they keep fighting and playing that footy, they will avoid relegation, I cant believe they are second to bottom.

Test... correct one ump was terrible and very one sided, one of them was reasonable, wasnt going to mention the umps but the players are open for criticism so the umps are to, but again Lutheran were very good.

And you counted the free kicks ?? Is that seriously what you wanted to achieve by going to watch the game ?? Surely the game itself would have been worth watching.... Ive never heard of anyone knowing the free kick count from a game before......

Thanks for the comments Griffin.... one of the more disappointed changerooms I've ever sat in post-match. The clubs been through a lot over the last month and to lose after being 4 goals up in the last quarter, after losing to the last kick of the day last week, was shattering.

Some umpiring was questionable, but players need to learn they're not going to change their mind!! Both teams gave away free kicks/25m penalties arguing with umps and complaining.

I thought no. 8 - Bamford? -was superb across half back for you guys... our big blokes played really well, we will keep fighting and try to get ahead of Unley!

Greenies have a bloke to keep stats like frees, inside 50's hard ball gets etc the coaches believe it helps to know whats going on 8)

Test...the smarties were terrible very inconsistant with interpretations all day...the crowd was confused so I rekon it would have been harder as a player

Fantastic win by the Burra's on the weekend.... Fair turn around from last time we met. Great effort by the lads and the best possible start to the back end of the season and the run to the finals. I have to say Fitzroy were a different team to the last time we played them. Very impressive in the first round with their skills, attack on the ball and body and their intensity but alot of that seemed to be missing on the weekend...

Foolish I know....

But they did easily beat us by 37 points last time and were way too physical and clean for us but who am I to predict a 122 point turn around when we had 5 first choice players out... and I didn't know Scudds was playing either... We played much better than we have of late and they were terrible compared to last time for some reason ?? I just thought it was beyond us but the lads proved me wrong... Thankfully !!

Round 11 Tips.

Pooraka v Salisbury West by 12 pts Match of the Round can go either way & the Bulls over the Tigers just in a ripper a of a game.
PAOC v Golden Grove by 18 pts another close match but the Kooka's to get the win over the Red's who not full strength this game will decide both teams seasons..
Greenacres v Unley by 30 pts the Dragon's can sniff a finals berth & will be to much for the Jets...
North Haven v Adelaide Lutheran by 6 pts upset on the card in the relagation battle Magpies to get their 1st win of the season over the Dog's....
Fitzroy v CBCOC by 1 pt the Lions are in free fall but are back at home as they face the killer Dolphins who are in awesome form & the Roy's always lift for this one & will be another game decided by less than a kick for the Purple & Whites.....

Great work from Greenacres & Golden Grove to keep their finals chance alive & keep things very interesting at the business end of the season as no team is safe in the Top 5 yet until they get 11-12 wins.
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!
