Choccies wrote:The Burra's headed into the park to take on PAOC and the boys would have been quietly carrying some confidence after beating Fitzroy the previous week and from knocking of PAOC in the previous contest but the boys were over run by PAOC in an 8 goal loss. PAOC were a tall, classy side who ran well, used the ball nicely and took their chances with loose balls in the forward lines. Our first 3 quarters were OK and had us in touch only 2 or 3 goals down at 3/4 time but our last quarter was definitely below average and not good enough at this level. No excuses. PAOC deserved the win
The B grade saw the Burra's turn around an early 4 goal deficit to win by 3 goals in their best game of the year so far. We shut down the tall runners, worked one-on-one and tackled hard and this got us back in the game and we ran over them in the last quarter.
Our undefeated C's also sneaked up after being down most of the day against a much improved PAOC C grade so in a nutshell all 3 grades had good games and the standard of footy was pretty good.
Can't believe how tall they all are though....
P.S. If anyone from PAOC finds my jacket in the away change rooms I'd love it back. It's my favourite jacket and Mrs Choccies hates it so I really really want it back

Yeah mate. Got put up into the B's after kicking 11 in the C's the week before. Definitely helped straighten us up and he crashed the packs and showed some good potential. 'Decent size but unfit'...... sounds familiar for Full Forwards at GGFC doesn't it !!![]()
But seriously Josh played well and will be a real asset to us and may even go up 1 more grade if he keeps working hard...

Whether he has the enthusiasm to play a higher level is another thing... he was at North and I believe didn't really have the desire or attitude to play ?? I stand corrected though...
