Shot to pieces!
I reckon there might be a few Div 1 & 2 coaches on $10K or more and it's probably tax free $$$$'s to boot, so the $10K is worth $14 - $15K in real terms

Oh no sh!t Rupert!
Was i talking about coaches?
Coaches shouldn't be included in the salary cap anyway.

No Mercy, there is a separate 'cap' of $10K for coaches, this includes all club coaches, A,B,C,U/18's. Any excess above the $10K is deducted from the $30K player cap. Not sure if you are aware of this.

We have all played at clubs with guys that take big dollars!
Some guys grab the doe from the hand leave post haste and go others hang around and put in more than there fair share of work! i guess the problem is too many clubs try to out bid on the match payments rather than sell a great club and ideal.
Superman: Well, you see, I, uh, I sort of have a problem seeing through lead.

The SANFL Affiliated Leagues instigated the policy in 2003, individual leagues (SAAFL, GSFL etc) were given a 12 month moratorium to enable clubs to adapt to the new concept. It has been a mandatory requirement for 3 years.

Different leagues have a different Salary cap depending on the size of the league, ranges from $20K player cap + $10K cap for coaches (Adel.Plains FL) through to $30K + $10K for coaches.

A lot of clubs in many leagues would pay more that the $10K for their coaches. An old trick was to appoint a player as an "assistant coach" giving him coin out of the $10K pool and lessen the drag out of the player pool.

Andy its obvious you dont know what is going on at your own club. Ill give you some more news. Ocker is now trying to recruit Ricky Oloughlin from Kapunda with big bucks to bring the number of aboriginal recruits to about 6. Maybe if you start doing the maths with 15 recruits all signed so far you will see 85k as spendable. Still havent answered my questions re Polky.
Dont think you have a clue about what goes on at Kilburn

Did know that. Not sure what your question about Polky was, to be honest I'm too busy laughing at the crap you write.

You do the maths halfwit $85k is $225 per game for each player in the 21. You are talking out your arse.

Well if he's laughing at $225 he must be ridiculously good. The upper limit paid to anyone in my time at Kilburn has been $250. So if we buy a team full of Tim Whites, Daniel Thomases, Ryan Boyles, Matt Whelans, Matt Keatleys and Nathan Wrights to fill up 21 spots then good on us.

Unfortunatley we haven't. So yes, you are both talking out your arses

I'm not digging a hole, just pointing out that if we have spent $85k we wont win a game by less than 20 goals for the next two years and will win the div 1 flag the next. The SAAFL may as well put us in div 1 now.

Although I haven't seen all our new guys play, I doubt every single one is as good as the players I mentioned. Many who were not on $250, that was the upper limit.

gee thats nice of occa coaching for nothing. if being paid thats in that 85k surely, bringing it back to 70k nowfor players. down now to 200 per player, thats more reasonable for a div 3 side. ha ha

Andy you have obviously missed the whole point. What we are saying and it IS common knowledge is that Kilburn is paying out ridiculous amounts of money to players this year. There is also no guarantee of success with this strategy as evidenced by Salisbury North and Gepps Cross. Yes we are jealous of your financial position, if in deed everything promised gets paid, but we think your club is going down the wrong track.
