This year we are off to Mount Gambier on AFL prelim final weekend. Will get approx 25-30 i'd say. Staying at the Old Jail. After last years Mildura experience it will have a lot to live up to!!

Just beware mate... Mildura is a dry zone outside of any establishment and the police hovver around looking for excuses to cruise the streets and pick people up for drinking in a dry zone so try to keep your drinking to indoor venues ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Smosh stayed there 2 years ago. be carful there as the bloke that ran it was a bit of a knob. very basic accom. but u dont need more for a footy trip. night life is ok there. we had a great bus trip up there. very quiet bus trip home.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

IF the young bloke who orgainised it had a couple of nervous moments. Including almost crashing the boats into each other! But everyone said it was a great trip fishing, swimming, stopping off at towns and having a beer and punt. The lads upset some locals as well. Other problem is its really hard to get away from that one bloke who manages to be written off from the time he gets on the boat till the time you leave.

We did Mildura as well one year. But we stayed in Coomeala (i think thats how u spell it) It was next to the golf course and the mini casino. We ended up crashin the buses into each other on an early morning smokes and vodka run. Did not go down to well.

We are staying at the Golden River Holiday Resort. Thanks for the advise on the dry zone will make sure we keep that in mind. Have already been warned about being kicked out of the place we are staying. Should be interesting especially when there is a netball carnival up there that weekend and when I booked the cabins the bird tells me that most of the other rooms at the place is taken up by the netballers.

We went to that netball carnival last year, was gold. We stumbled out of the bus and people just stared at us. Some of the comments were great. Just be careful boys, alot of those netballers are underage

When we went to Mildura/Coomiala the place we were staying at, told the Brother who booked it that there is a netball team staying next too us. So as you could imagine a few of the lads where really fired up and droughts were going to be broken. But the Brother who booked the accom failed to tell us it was an over 40's netball team.
