Woodville south started preseason last monday. Probably about 30 people out on both nights. Looking for a big 2011. Any players welcome out on wednesday night. Pm me for details if interested.

Had our first session last night and it was really good. Had 30+ blokes there, so it was a pretty good showing first up. There was a good vibe around the group and everyone was keen to get into it. Had a good solid run from Ocean View College to Largs Jetty and back and then threw the footys around for a while afterwoods. All in all a good start to our pre-season.

Yes but with a team that boasts Kerr, Kapelle and Mason among others, i dont think its talls that they need IMO

What we needed is depth i reckon which hopefully we have now

We've applied for C3-5. But the league will probably put us in C1 or 2..

When do they let you know where abouts you guys play? Does anybody know how long we have to wait before its official who plays in each Grade and how many teams are in each grade?

i think come February when everything is made official... ultimately we'll play where we are put, i just hope they use some common sense when making that decision

Common Sense hey. Dont hold your breath mate. Surely if you nearly folded and finished bottom of C1 then your either gonna be in C2 or C3. Having said that...Wingys were C2 in 08, C5 in 09 and i dont even know where they were this year.
Without sounding like a broken record i sincerely hope that C1-C5 are all comps without byes. Ie; No 9 team comps

I guess to fit the games in before September it'll prob have to be that way... and the way my preseason will prob end up (with little NG being expected Jan 27) i'll need a week to recover after the first game...

That looks like it. They seem to work back from the AFL GF and that is the date it comes out at. With 1 game and then the 5 day long weekend round 2 will be hard to keep blokes trained up and ready for.
