My tips for round 2
Woodville South v Mawson Lakes (Ledger Reserve - 10.15am) Mawson Lakes by 10-20 points to follow up thier good win last week against Scotch by 6 goals.
Fitzroy v Kilburn (Fitzroy Sports Club - 2.15pm) Fitzroy by 20-30 points at home but may get a surprise by much improved Kilburn side from last year.
Lockleys v Kenilworth (Lockleys Oval - 2.15pm) Kenilworth by 1-10 points could be the match of the round (maybe)Lockleys will need to bring there A game to this one.
Plympton v Scotch (Plympton Oval - 2.15pm) Plympton by 10 goals + and will show to all they are the number 1 team in this comp.
Hectorville v Elizabeth (Daly Oval - 3.30pm)[/quote]Hectorville by 40+points at home will be to strong for Elizabeth as games have shown at Daly Oval Hounds 2 Eagles 0

From all at MLFC, we hope the poor bloke from Old Scotch that was knocked out at our game last week, and taken away by ambulance makes a speedy recovery. It was one of those 'Almost Footy Legend' moments, where one of the Lakers slipped passed 2 opponents, only for them to clash heads. The friendly fire was heard from a fair distance from the impact.

Watch out for 33, Punky.
Runs around with bumper bars up all day.
When he's not playing for the Chicks, he's got a job at Magic Mountain giving kids rides ;)

Apart from that, they're a good competitive team. Run well, particularly early. And they've got some good skills.
They did have one bloke playing who was an A grader last year, had a short pre-season, I'd expect he did enough to go up to the Biebers though.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Fitzroy 9-13-67 Def Kilburn 5-12-42 (No real surprise here ! Good to see kilburn back up last weeks effort.A win for them is not so far away.) Good win Fitzroy
Lockleys 5-10-40 Def by Kenilworth 16- 14 -110 (Kenilworth showed how strong they are going to be this season and Lockleys were just disappointing)
Plympton 7-7-49 Def Scotch 3-5-23(Well done Scotch in a real fight .Plympton just got the win and one more step to this years Flag.)
Hectorville 11-8-74 Def Elizabeth 3-6-24 (No surprise.Elizabeth will have to do better if they are to play any part in this years finals)

Well done to the 3 teams that are setting the pace already.
Kenilworth,Plympton and to everyone surprise a well drilled machine in Mawson Lakes
Fitzroy and Hectorville not so far away and as the weeks go on will see how they are placed.

All the best to all teams in next week games!
