What have we learned in Finals

Re: What have we learned in Finals

I have learnt that after this weekend some teams will be guarenteed a spot in the GF and a move up a division and that basically around that same time people will start complaining about the cost of admission to the grand finals. Then after next week more sides will be into the grand final and even more people will complain about the cost of admission.

This also means that at any point soon we will start hearing about which teams already have their premiership t-shirts printed and just sitting in a box ready to go.

Did i miss anything?

Just saw that Luthies are training at Campbelltown tomorrow night, so wondering whether that's where they're playing?

In all seriousness, how can anyone think $8 to get into the ground at a Div 8/ 8R final is ok? It's hard enough getting volunteers etc to help out, then it's, "oh by the way, it will cost you $8 for the privilege of running water at a d grade game".

It's blatant revenue raising, unless someone can convince me otherwise.....

Talk to your club secretary I think you might not have to pay.
Tell him to check his info in regards to finals.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Doesn't each team get a list of 30 people who don't have to pay? Players, trainers, team managers, water runner, etc

You would think someone would ring the league office instead of bitching on here all night, but then again, what's the fun in that :butthead:

You use to get that until last year when every one had to pay and they would re-imburse the club, Not sure what it is this year?

Have learnt that the catering at Thebby Oval leaves a lot to be desired as usual. Have heard they ran out of pies, pasties and sausage rolls by the start of the 2nd game in a triple header when apparently there was hardly anyone there anyway. Also heard 20 min waits at the bbq. When will the league learn to cater properly after the same thing happening year after year

Burra Boy will start talking about how many 'top' recruits Golden Grove will be getting and how good they are going to be. (without actually doing it on the field)
