Flinders Uni over Hectorville (Just)
Kenilworth to upset GG dispite injury and un-availabilities
Hope Valley to topple Fitzroy and have the top 5 settled.

Good luck to all.......

Hectorville V Golden grove should be a cracker of a game this week!!

Reckon Golden Grove may just get over the line to revenge their Round 2 loss.
A Hectorville win would just about give Flinders Uni the minor round premiership.

Fitzroy $1.04
West Croydon $10

Golden grove were a classy outfit last saturday.
I think they will win this week.

A week off for kenilworth will do the world of good, had to scrape up players last week due to injury and unavailability.

Anyway good luck to all teams this week. :D

hi guys, one good way to beat flinders uni is to hit them hard physically. thay are sooks and there umpire is a cheat so all the teams that play them from now on , hit them hard, fair of coarse and theyll be lookin over their shoulders everytime they go for the ball, rem they have been beaten.

I guess that explains why they got beaten in the wet.
You have to play tough hard football in those terrible conditions!

If you reckon Uni's umpire is "slightly biased", what do you make of Adelaide Lutheran's umpire??

Considering it is only C5, the umpiring has been pretty good this year. Had a couple of games with some bad decisions but the other time we played that club it was OK.

Looks like the top 5 is probably settled. Got to be some big upsets from here for it to change.

You get bad umpires every where you go,yes some are cheats but the easiest way to make it even is just have them umpire 1 end for the first half then the other end the other half.I have played in a game or 2 where the opposition umpire always umpires the defensive end so where there is 50/50 calls they never pay the free's in front of their clubs defensive goal and I have had numerous obvious free's in front of goal not paid, but its water of a ducks back. It is really just a kick and a catch.Sure when you are out there you give 110% but we are not playing for sheep stations. If you get carried away with the standard of umpiring in C5 then you must get a lot of heartbreak in life, get back to having fun and leave it on the feild.

Yeah ur right, I think Fitzroy are good enough to make the finals pending some results, I think the best team that Ive played is Kenilworth though, very well drilled team...

what TB has done for the team this year has been fantatastic, I am always ready with the socks, shorts and boots to play a game, would of been playing earlier in the year but other factors meant that i missed half the year, which would of meant that it would be hard to get in that side. Next year we will have 4 sides competing, might put my hand up to coach :Hangman:

Yeah we hope to do some damage come finals time, really need a top 3 birth though. Just seemed to falter in key matches.Looking forward to the game this week with Heccies, went down narrowly to them last time after leading at half time. This is our chance to get that top 3 spot we need.......

Nah, we (Fitzroy) would need a miracle to make the finals.
Our strongest side could be good enough, but you're never gonna get the chance to pick your best 21 in the C's.
Still, the C grade was only thrown together in Feb, so we need to look long term.
I think the 5 will not change (the order might).
Funny, we nearly nailed Kennilworth away- smashed them with a 6 goal 3rd quarter, got close to Hope Valley away (smashed on the return leg) & kept up with GG to half time.
Being close doesn't count though, unless you're throwing hand grenades...

My tip for the flag?
