I dont think its humanly possible for me to win the blackdog award ever again, after dominating the award and claiming it 3 weeks on the trot, it has made it near impossible for me to win the prestigious award again...
I've had a couple of b.o.g's since and the great Blacky keeps overlooking his "adopted son"
so if i "turn one on" this week, surely i'll get rewarded ;)

Very close Thachy, thought you were a bit stiff, I reckon
he might of changed his mind very late, although you cant
take anything away from Screech's hanger.

Like i told screech when he came off, he did take the second best hanger of the day ;)
But i dont think blackdog really appreciates how hard it is for a 174cm asian import to jump up (off 1 step) and sit on a 180cm opponents shoulders with arms fully extended and take wat was widely regarded as the mark of the season..

P.s I've taken 2 dangles this year and they've both been against Mitcham :D

Didnt see it but from what Ive been told, you didnt hold it long enough, ie same as G Ablett Snr's mark of the year a few years ago, great attempt but not actually a mark.

Theres your problem blackcat.. You didnt see it...
Those that were luckily enough to be there, quoted it as "DELICIOUS"
And there was no disputing the mark, as i firmly grasped it in the hands and only spilled it once my hands hit the ground..
Therefore the umpire adjuticated it correctly...

I personally spoke with the great man this arvo and he told me that he'll at least be seeing out the season even though he works double the hours of the guys down at waterco! He did say there was gonna be a press conference regarding one of the come backs of all time being the great D.Beer. Apparently jealousy is setting in now his brother is getting close to the big 300. Someone needs to tell beery to wear a hat when he's painting ceilings cos the blotches of paint in his hair make him look 10 years older!!

If this is infact the case, I think Troy should still be involved with the club in some way, shape or form..
Playing and coaching werent his strong suit, so maybe he could operate the scoreboard or be a timekeeper?
Elbows could do his bit on a Saturday and be the runner or run out water to his beloved teammates but i think this would become an uphill battle as it would more then likely involve Troy having to run..
I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Simon Head for getting Troy Ellbourn to the club..
Without Simon Head we would not have got Troy Ellbourn and without Troy Ellbourn we wouldnt have someone to stand next to in the shower to make us feel good about wat we've got ;)

Maybe we can find a job for him in the canteen.
That could be more of a loss than a win for the club.
Hows my Thachy going anyway.

Couldnt see the club persisting with Elbows in the canteen as his motto of "1 for you, 1 for me" would send the club broke..

And its hard to gauge how you go when you lose, but i got 3rd best, but Robyn didnt put me in the paper.. AGAIN!!!!! :(

Maybe Robin wants you to keep a low profile.
Especially with all the Blacky awards you have been
getting, maybe he thinks enough is enough.

Played a bit against Para Hills in the years gone by, and against the
Beers. If its not D.Beer approaching 300 games if must be Steven.
Didnt realise he is still playing. What grade is he playing, does he
still sneak around loose in defence getting cheap kicks.

I'd like to thank the PHFC for recognising multicultural week by changing the menu for this weekends game...
The sausages, steaks and kranskies have been shifted aside for this weekends game, whilst the spring rolls, fried rice and yiros's with tabouli and extra garlic sauce have been given the green light to be served this coming saturday...
Also a special mention to Giao and Mewah for allowing the club to borrow their woks..
And a special mention to Ngoc who is gonna cook on the wok...
