Not too sure, PAOC seem to rub people up the wrong way for some reason. That might be why everyone seems to have a love/hate relationship with them. Many clubs seem to say the same about CBCOC too.

There is a bit of history building between Pooraka and Haven, after a couple of elimination final meetings the last couple of years.

A personal thing. Lots of stories and incidences occuring with me and my time in footy from guys that went to those schools. Most are, but not all necessarily football related. It has generally led to my attitude of really playing very very physical footy against college sides and wanting to belt them off the park in all ways possible in an effort to take them 'down a peg'.

You can throw CBC and Rostrevor in there as well. I was very nearly a blacks boy myself at high school so my passionate dislike for them is more along the lines of what choccies desribed in his explanation of the 'mutual respect rivalry'

Dont know much about the other clubs in div4 is there any love/hate between any of them..would like to hear about it

There was a great rivalry between us and Haven the last few years. Plenty of feeling involved whenever we played each other.

Doesn't every team in Div 4 love North Haven??

Haha, thats the first time i have ever heard anyone draw comparisons between the CYC and Haven footy club.

I dont think you could get 2 more contrasting places...

Some of the Haven players may have tried to steal a yacht at one time or another, that would be the only similarities...

It was 7.30am. Mind you there were a few people hovering around the club, and strangely they looked like thay may have been preparing to do excercise rather than try break in !! I thought it may have been some keen lads doing some early morning pre-season stuff so I figured they wouldn't want to be tempted with the bakery stuff I was delivering... I mean, you'd hate to run around with a fresh cream chocolate donut sitting in your guts right ??
