They certainly found their mojo yesterday. Strongly built good running team and disciplined.

Well done to the club and their faithful support people as well, very well run day without incident.

Historically Morphies 2's have been average and that probably gives a level of how average. There is a posibility that it could hinder there progress through the grades.

Wouldn't take anything away from our B grade. Have improved dramatically and will win a few games.

There are some personal circumstances with Scotty going back to Smithfield and for what's its worth its great news for Scotty (Nothing to do with Football). This will not mean anything to people on here and its not my place to put it out there, I'm sure Scott will when he is ready.

All the best mate.

On behalf of everyone at the Edwardstown FC a special thanks to the Morphy Park footy club for a very special day Saturday. A great game played in genuine spirit for the ultimate reward of a cup that is in honour of two greats from both clubs. We look forward to the return bout and hopeful of getting it back. It just makes you realise that it's more than just a game, it's about friendship and the reasons we play the great game.

With almost the entire Morphetville Park club in our bar after the game it tells me a lot about people who care. Pleasure to be involved.

Good post Yank Man - How are the triple headers going for the club? seeing an increase in turnover etc, or too early to tell?

How did the C grade boys go on the weekend?

Triple headers just make it easier to spread the volunteers but don't help financially. The C's were pretty good against good opposition but we lack numbers. A group of U18's have been filling in to date but it was their 1st game Sunday and they wanted to save themselves which is natural. A couple of injuries and we finished with about 15 in the last quarter.

I heard Shrek has gone for a coach/captain/ head of selectors/chairman's role but doesn't want it to be an autonomous position.

I heard Wazz doesn't know what autonomous means and shouldn't try to use big words to look smart because it has the opposite effect.

I also heard Danky wants to add another hyphen to his name and become Hughbert Johnson-Scrotum-Galbraith

Just for you Shrek - "Autonomous" - having the freedom to act independently. I sincerely apologise for using words of more than one syllable and I never have to be known as a smart, quite the opposite actually lol.
