If their grounds are "big call" I'm pretty confident tbh

Well that made no sense at all. Can someone explain what that meant?

Ah, the grounds of review are challenging the tribunal's standard of proof, that's been that rule forever. A big call indeed

Dear Jo,

The grounds of review (if there are any) bear no resemblance to Big Shrek's posts.

Perhaps separating legal proceedings and unrelated social media posts will improve your strike rate on judicial reviews.

Yours faithfully,

Big Shrek

Never had JR gone badly. Probably due to the advice I gave earlier, namely you want an ongoing relationship with someone, namely as a member of an incorporated association, litigating is astonishingly poor strategy.

I've done a couple of similar cases on behalf on Incorporated associations. Leaving aside that the expelled member remained expelled after both, directly antagonising the body you want to be a part of is pure strategic insanity.

Imagine if the league were to put out a call to fund their own silk. Northies would be really popular

What did this post mean then?

The harm caused by the punch is very relevant to penalty. However the intention of the person who caused the harm is more relevant to guilt or the penalty. The problem with your comparison is that in a one punch attack the person inevitably intends to punch the person in the head. The argument here is that he didn’t.

Legal this, legal that.
There should be no tolerance.
SN have had their chances, every year the same thing happens.
Bye Bye.

Fair call

How would the league tribunal ever be able to 100% prove intent other than taking the players word.

I feel like for an amateur league tribunal to be consistent they would be best to take harm caused rather than extremly subjectual intent line.

Cheers for the genuine discussion without all the BS

But if they only used harm as the guideline then you would end up with ‘football collisions ‘ that cause injury resulting in suspension. It’s a big price to pay for consistency.

The tribunal almost always has very imperfect evidence before it which makes there job difficult. My problem is that decisions with massive ramifications shouldn’t be based on what someone thinks happened.

Is the AAA something the tribunal should have regard to in findings as to an individual charge?

I realise they're linked, but I don't think the procedure should change depending on that situation.

Best left for the executive (with the GC to review/override as is appropriate) to work out having regard to the tribunal

Exactly why each tribunal has a lawyer on it, and in many cases, a practising Judge

GG finally get their well deserved win.
Out played the opposition for 80% of the game and actually took full use of 80% of their opportunities, makes one hell of a difference.
Well done to Eric and his players for sticking fat with a 0 - 10 record before today.
Some very happy GG footballers.
Congrats lads.

Brighton will take the flag out this year. Very very impressive unit. They’re not the first side to touch us up this year. But I reckon they have the cattle to take down SPOC.
Would be a good matchup

Anyone know where Callum is heading? Willaston perhaps? Thought he may end up at Virginia, they could use him right now.
Gawler South I think

No clearances will be processed for this week. All will be processed from Monday.

Clearances processed already and both played for South today

One might be forgiven for thinling that this happens with such monotonous regularity in the ammos that the heirachy actually love the bit of me time they get in the media when they hand down such a penalty.
