pigdog: if i had to say one reason i would think the absence of our ruckman this year has been the most difficult to try and overcome..a top class ruckman can bring so many players into the game and of course the winning of the middle is vital in football

emerson; you wont be laughing when buckley ends up coaching the roos :D come and see the board down at the club next week emerson if your around

It wouldn't bother me if Bucks went to the Roos... I think Mick is staying put for a while yet. So the board's done is it, I will have to pop down soon and have a look. Next home game when I have a weekend off will have a look, catch up for a beer.....
Has anyone seen Sammy G, the KING of Teringie.

Well i guess the OS in your name has something to do with it, or is that next week?

Reckon we'll just worry about tomorrow 'til that's done with. 6 days after that to think about next week.

Nice fishing though Azza. I like it. :)

Thought you might like that, any truth to the OS part?

Amazing game in at Anderson Walk today. Smithfield A's got the jump on Rosies and had a fairly sizeable lead around 3/4 time. But just when you thought it was in the bag, Rosewater strung a few together and the last few minutes were thrilling. Smithfield got home by under a kick, but what a game!

Oldy was understandably very happy with the boys still for getting the points. The Dogs never gave the fight up, and I think this will hold them in good stead for finals footy should they be there.

The B grade was a different story, we lead by a coupla points at quarter time from memory, but Rosewater got on top in the 2nd and used the footy well after half-time.

And I'd like to thank the Rosewater B grade coach for coming over and saying a few encouraging words after the game. We are struggling a bit in various ways, and I appreciate the gesture.

Ingle Farm vs Pulteney: 120 points... Pulteney easily
Smithfield vs Rosewater: 5 points... Fingers crossed
Westminster OS vs Elizabeth: 42 points... Eagles have dropped off the face of the Earth, due for a win but it won't be this week
Plympton vs Hope Valley: 13 points... Match of the round, Plympton with the edge based on the location

Smithfield would have to turn things around very sharply!
Rosie Dogs easy
Hounds
Blues
Dragons
Red Dogs

That they did. I'm very proud of the boys. :D

Wow thats a surprise. Well done to Smithfield. Plympton too good for Hope Valley today. Turned the tables from round one getting the points in all grades. Hats off to plympton, very well drilled football sides.

great day off footy at dog park.... Firstly wanna say great effort from PFC considering 4 blokes pulled out of the A grade from the side selected at thursday night.... good work.... great game in the reserves, having played in that game, that game was finals standard footy. This might sound sucky but it was great to play them, they were hard at it all day and it should be a ripper of a game whe we meet next, which we will.......... Regardless of the results today, it was a fantastic day for amatuer footy... Hope Valley are a fantastic club and they have earnt my respect (not that means much. Hahahaha!!!), football was the winner today..... triple headers are the way to go.... i know what i say doesn''t mean much but Hope Valley are a danger side and i rekon they will be one of the sides to watch come september and in the twos , i was chatting to some of the boys who played last year in the reserves (i was one of them) we all agreed HV are a harder and better drilled side then Golden Grove last year....... Danger side....
Anyways im not sucking up, i just call it as i see it...... Well done to all sides today and well done to ingle farm b's, gettn so close....

No I'm not but I dont see why you are making a comparison ? Is it because you thought the GG boys were some sort of measuring stick last year ??

they were... very good side and had some great players in it....... i have the up most respect for them...... i was just saying HV were much harder at it the GG... No disrespect.... GG were a quality side, and still are.... it was a honour to play in those games we played last year.......... they were rippers.... on skills i reckon GG would win, but on hardness HV would get up...... they handled the pressure better then GG... Put it this way the GF last year in D5R was a ripper and was the best ive seen and the best ive played in.... they are good blokes at GG.... Great club... They very much struggled when the pressure was on.....

Plympton deserved to win the game but that umpire is an absolute disgrace
